This audiobook is short, but packed with suspense! Echo Platoon Lt. Mitch Thoreau is on vacation in Spain along with two other SEALs in his command. They arrive in Barcelona during unrest caused by an uprising of Catalonia-independence separatists.
Mitch is meets and is drawn to Katrina Ferrer, but she's dealing with older brothers who are leading the uprising. In 48 short hours, chaos ensues, Katrina is shot by her eldest brother, and Mitch is summoned back to duty. This is a DON'T MISS for Melton fans.
Marliss Melton's ECHO PLATOON series has been a long-time favorite on my Kindle and TAKE COVER just joined my list of favorite military romantic suspense audiobooks!

A well-written short read from a good author
Take Cover (Echo Platoon #4.5), my first read from author Marliss Melton. Enjoyable, tightly woven & well-written romantic suspense. “I received a free Audible copy of this book and I'm voluntarily leaving a review." Author Craig A. Hart's narration adds to the enjoyment of the book. The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I"ll be reading more from this author and in this series. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
