Oh, a nice story

Nice story. Characters are likable enough. A little less than exciting. Daily life with a family focused on teenage angst and a bit of a martyr for a divorced mother. no great shakes, but "nice" depending on what you are looking for.

Love this book!!

I love the fact that I never wanted to put it down. I hated to see it end. She just made you fall in love with the characters.

Nancy Thayer fans will not be disappointed!

Good story! Just what I expected from Nancy Thayer. Love all her books, every one has good characters & good stories

Not one of her better books

I've enjoyed plenty of Nancy Thayer books in my time, but this one felt like a waste of a book. It contained all the standard Nantucket details one loves about her books, but this story was slow moving and uninteresting. I kept waiting for something to happen, and while things did, the book felt forced and the ending unsatisfying. A lot of time was spent with unneeded and unwanted lengthy descriptions about things you don't really care about - almost like page fillers. I stuck with it, but the book was a pale comparison to many of her past books.

Not her best book

This book dragged and I was bored. The character development was also very slow. I was very disappointed, as I am a fan of Nancy Thayer.
