Effects of COVID times

Reality of dealing with lots of money it was an escape for me. I know it’s overwhelming handling high finance.

This was an amazing story. I was so excited to get back to it asap.

The narrator had a wonderful voice to listen to. Easy and engaging with lots of twists.

The story was interesting and kept you wondering who was going to end up together.

Liked everything very well written and very good. Love her books always and will read the next one coming out

I felt the story was very predictable and so so. I listen to the end but this novel was not anything special compared to some of her other ones

Disappointingly predictable. A slow read compared to her other books. I kept waiting for something to happen!

I liked the family dynamics and the unexpected connections made by family members. There were disconnects and unexpected family conversations. An enjoyable story of a parent and her children.

Slow and repetitive

The story parts were very repetitive and did not have much substance. To move the story along they just basically listed events that happened. Transitioning to other story lines were completely missing at times. Definitely not a typical Danielle Steel story.
