Very good

I liked the level of tension through the whole story. CM Ewan does a good job with coming up with plausible situations that also have plausible solutions.

New favorite author

The story sucks you in immediately and keeps you on the edge of your seat to the end. I love how this author creates situations, and character reactions that are believable. Looking forward to the next book release.

eI felt like I was being forced to read a college student’s essay with the assignment being to use as many adjectives as possible and limit the setting to a car.

A difficult audiobook to review, but here goes…

I almost stopped listening after a few chapters. At first, I was happy I stuck with C.M. Ewan's British thriller, narrated by Olivia Mace, a talented presenter I am familiar with. Kudos to the brilliant Mace her exceptional and riveting narration – her vocals perfectly captured the tension and emotion. Abi and Ben's foggy night drive takes a heart-stopping turn when they're faced with a difficult decision involving a mysterious stranger and a stranded mother and baby. This book has devious twists and turns, however, I got lost and that was not enough for me. Overall, Mace is the major reason that kept me listening with her her exquisite British narrative skills. Remember, it’s my opinion. No multitasking. Listen carefully, or you might miss something crucial.
