One of the best David Baldacci books I read ! He’s written a lot of wonderful books! You will appreciate the complex relationship between his lovable characters .

I love when there are multiple readers giving more true voice.

I’ve read a lot of world war 2 real history and the story of the small island nation always grabs me.

Ending on a cliff hanger!

excellent read

I loved the story, but hated the ending. I did expect it, though. An excellent story, wonderful character development, as all Baldacci's work is.

Well written and performed.

This was very different from the other books I have read which were written by this author. I enjoyed the descriptions of England, having lived there years ago, as well as the plot and character development. A unique book which I highly recommend.

A Gem

Best book I’ve listened to in a while. Filled with emotion and atmosphere the London blitz comes alive. Wonderful characters. Wonderful story.

Great book for various ages.

As usual for Baldacci, story is great. You don’t know how it’s going to end until you get there. Enjoyed the narration, too.

Characters

This is my favorite of his books. It’s so different and the characters are what make the story. It just happens to be set in WWII.
There are so many historical fictions set in this era and they all read the same the same blah characters followed by of course romance.
If you are looking for that , this is not the book for you!
