Resumen del Editor

Step #1: Dress up as your crush’s superhero to impress him. Check.
Step #2: Fight off the bullies who have been plaguing the school. Check.
Step #3: Get drawn into a plot to bring back the city’s notorious villain and - wait, what?

Yup. That just happened. And sometimes Macy Davis still can’t believe it.

On Macy’s list of things to do, taking on a new crime syndicate wasn’t at the top. Patrolling the city as Stellar, balancing crime-fighting with romance as she fans a budding relationship, and finding Luminesa, her elusive co-superhero, are her priorities. But when she stumbles upon a new enemy and the Alderwoman’s plans to retake the city, she must become more than just the muscle and venture into a world beneath Port Saint Dominic. With the help of old friends and some peculiar new ones, she sets out to unravel the mysteries of the city’s hidden past.

Good but not great

Excellent and well written YA/teen story. Nothing terribly new, unpredictable or exciting, but in general the author didn't do anything wrong.

Except for one thing. You can fill a 3.5" floppy with text documents. There's little chance you can get multiple mp4s on one. And those had massive storage compared to the 5.25 floppies. It's not likely to bug most people but it drives me insane.

Narration is slow and deliberate, seems like she's being overly careful with enunciation. The result is that it doesn't sound natural. This didn't bother me much but I can understand how this would make it unlistenable to some.

I’ll listen again and again

Great sequel to Stellar #1! Innocent young girl. Great super hero. Can’t wait for the next one.

Interesting next chapter

So, the author really leans into old super hero action shtick more in this one. If you could suspend disbelief for the first one to make it this far you might be okay. The villain is classic over the top evil just as much or more than the first installment.
It was a little humorous the author using without papers for the only regular slur to happen in these, the cartoonish portrayal of the mob is right into that category of having to suspend disbelief. Really at the end of the day it's going for that comic book vibe like The Cape. It's a niche thing you might not like. I have to be in a mood for it.

It does drag in spots, lots of slice of life moments to reinforce its high school.

Performer was once again adequate. Never going to make my top 5 or top ten even, but it's understandable and efficient. I can't rate higher because one really does have to focus because it's almost all 'generic male' and 'generic female' for everyone with little to no inflection difference. But they get the job done.

great narration the storyline was meh...

the main character has been through alot but needs to mature a bit starting to sound like another Harry Potter oooo poor me the adults just won't tell me anything, as she tries her best to not tell them anything. if it hadn't been free I probably wouldn't have listened.
