Acceptable overall, but with some major flaws

The performance was good, but the story and divergence from the first book left me disappointed. Avoiding any spoilers, I'll just say that this book contained about a 1/3 of the adventuring in the tower found in the first book. It was on the cusp of only serving as a side story in my opinion.

Here's hoping to the next installment making up for why I read this book in the first place.

Excellent narration and story! Highly recommend.

The author creates two fantastic worlds, the dreamscape Tower of Somnus, and the daytime corporate controlled megolopolis. Kat, the engaging main character, balances her life between both worlds. This third installment is as well written and exciting as the first two in the series. All of the characters are very well developed. The depth and creativity of the plot and both worlds is a masterpiece. I love this series and highly recommend it!

Always impressive!

I really enjoy this series; it's one of the most creative and worthwhile reads out there, in my opinion!

Good story, great performance

Unfortunately, the story had quite a bit of extra virtue signaling that seems entirely out of place within the context of the story.

I am loving the take charge Kat!

now that Xander is gone, and Kat has had some off-page mourning, she is kicking butt! I really enjoyed the first two books but this one has Kat taking control and that feels like the end of her origin story. I hope that makes sense, lol. I loved the book. Cale is a great writer and Andrea is a wonderful narrator!

Sigh...Never long enough!

AAAAAARRRRGGG!!! I WANT MORE! Now that I got that off my chest (taking a deep breath) let me get on with this review. I absolutely love this series. The whole bringing the powers of the "game" with you into the real world strikes just the right chord with me. This volume has everything (just like the last 2 books), intrigue, drama, politics, action packed fights and of course new powers to be brought out of the tower. There is also a budding romance, but I won't spoil things for anyone. Then there is Andy (Andrea Parsneau) as the narrator. Funnily enough she also narrates a few of my other favorite series.

Do not buy this book without buying the others first. I wish I could binge read this series for the first time every time a new book comes out.

Ends Strong! Can’t Wait for the Next Book 📖

The over-explanations can be exhausting (and frequent) but overall I really enjoyed the last half of the book, it was really worth the wait and I’m truly excited for the rest of the series!

A unique action-driven litRPG!

This is one of the most unique litRPG I've read. It's a Scifi first-contact situation and unless you're familiar with Somnus the player's game, where you would have already met and fought with the mole like race! While the situation outta game worsens, the dungeon diving in Somnus gets even harder. As Kat's magical skills continue grow! She has already found that her skills carry over strengthening her abilities outta game too. So during the day Kat and her team fight for the planet. And at night while sleeping she fights to beat the dungeon boss. Doubling the action!!!
And you better believe Andrea Parsneau pulls off another Stellar 11 ⭐ performance!
Remember you can't play Somus without grabbing the books first!

Best Book So Far! Action Packed

Plamann does an excellent job of capturing the reader's attention from the start of this book and the action just keeps coming. Andrea Parsneau is as wonderful as ever in this book and manages to amplify the already edge-of-seat writing with her performance.

Kat is growing into a leadership role fabulously and is a constant bad-ass as she continues where the last book left off, investigating the invasion Stallesp and trying to prevent the subjugation of the human race.

This series is one of the most fun ones I am reading and can't wait to see what comes next from this Author.
