CAROLYN HAINES HAS DONE AN EXCELLENT JOB IN WEAVING A CONVOLUTED MYSTERY ABOUT MURDER AND PURE BREED HORSE RAISING. AT FIRST, I WAS NOT SURE ABOUT LIKING THIS SLOW STARTING STORY, BUT AS THE MINUTES CLIPPED PAST, SO DID THE NIGHT. I JUST COULD NOT STOP AS THE ACTION ONCE IT STARTS IS CONSTANT. Carolyn Haines has crafted another great installment in the series. It was full of lots of humor and even a few twists. This is a nice series and I look forward to the next one. If you like cozy mysteries, you won’t want to miss this one.
