If an audiobook was a cursed email chain

This is a dumpster fire in terms of production quality but the story is interesting.

The female voice actor needs to be played at .9 speed other wise it sounds like google translate reading and even then the beginning Im not 100% sure if it was human read. Once you get a couple chapters in she sounds better or you just get used to the cursed half human half Alexa sound.

The male voice actor doesn't read the male voices unless the chapter is from a male perspective so good luck trying to reconsile that. Plus he over emphasizes everything which is a delight to listen to.

I genuinely love this audiobook but I promise you there is nothing quality about it but the actual story. It was well written and interesting but the true blessing is how bad everything else is.

It’s not you it’s me

Ok I really wanted to like this book. Interesting premise, well written, engaging strong lead, all the things I like in books. However, it is giving off reverse haram vibes and with 3 hrs left I called it quits. I just really don’t like when the main character isn’t into one person. I have a hard enough time with books where it takes the lead time to figure out who she likes but I can’t do several interests, nothing wrong with it just not my cup of tea. So you should really give this book a credit unless you want more defined relationships like me.

Another good one

Another good book by Sarah Piper! And I love Nicole Poole! She makes every voice believable. Can’t wait to read the next book.

Interesting concept and great characters!

I enjoyed this story. The world building was wonderful and I enjoyed seeing how the characters interacted. I'm curious to see what new challenges they will face in the next book.

I absolutely love Sarah piper book

I thought Nicole did an amazing job voicing the main character. Sarah does a wonderful job writing this book.Stephen did a fabulous job bringing the male character to life.

Hooked

Such a solid start to a RH Paranormal Romance!! I enjoyed the secret society, dark mage war storyline soo much! It also has some obligatory college mean girl moments but with such a great storyline involving her mother and prophecy its thankfully over shadowed! I also love that it's a slow to medium burn in the sex department. It's clear who her men will be but Starla is taking her time in building the relationships. A few rounds of play time and one super steamy sexy moment are all we got in book one. If your here for just the sex, or hate sexy times you will like this one. It's very well balanced!!

I love a great supernatural book

I loved the beginning if this book. I never figured out the plot until the end of the beginning. I can't wait to see how the brothers will track down the traiter teacher, I want to see how they deal with the problems the mages and witches have in store for themselves. How will they deal with the deaths if their fellow witches and mages? I need the next book ASAP! The author doesn't disappoint us in the least. The characters make me feel as if I'm right there. You must read this book.

Totally Caught Hook, Line, and Sinker

I fell totally in love with this series. Once I started I could not stop. It connects with the heart. A few parts giving me a touch of anxiety, parts making me laugh, borderline cry, and feeling the push pull of love and healing.

Loved it!

I like magic fantasy but having studied "real world" magical systems some, it appears to me that most magical fantasy authors have only studied only other fantasy. The Tarot is well known enough I thought this might have some depth, even if the author had never attempted magic. I was not disappointed. Good writing, mysteries, plot twists, characters. A fun read. Looking forward to the sequel!

Better than I expected

I love the story’s plot. It had me not wanting to stop listening. In fact I hoped and prayed it was a longer series when I finished and it is! I’m excited to hear more of this story! The first book set up a nice little cliffhanger to keep you wanting more!
