Listened to this in one sitting. I like this series so far. It's different than other YA academy stories, not so whiny. The ending was a bit of a cliffhanger for me but I plan to finish the series.

Fell In Love!

I read the first book and this one in just 3 days!!! Absolutely fell in Love with the characters, the story, the dynamics... Seriously can't wait for the next book! Definitely worth the time. It has a lot of mystery that draws you in and keeps you wondering throughout with tidbits of pieces falling here and there! Not like you already guess whats going to happen or who is who, and Thank Goodness for that! ITS ABOUT TIME I found a book where im not in the know already. Also... It's not a schmooze gaga googley eyed romance from the gate... Its kind of a lot of irritation, well maybe i might... Nope... Its a total dislike, annoyance,... wait? I might have feelings? Uggghh NO I DONT!! but....! Kind of romance, And completely without that bully victim thing going on in alot of books these days. And I like that. I love how you aren't sure who the main LI is in the beginning... I thought I knew but then got thrown off for a few and then was like... I KNEW IT! Lol! Great supporting characters... This book Makes you laugh, roll your eyes, cringe, feel sad for them at times, get annoyed, tear up possibly? and try to figure it out before you get there and definately root for the MCs! Amazing work!! Thank you to the author for giving me a dang great read and world to lose myself in and that keeps me totally interested all the way through!!! That's hard to do anymore! And the narrator... Great job, I wasn't sure at first... But I ultimately enjoyed listening to her and she did a great job on this!

Good

I really liked this one. My only problem was the ending went quickly after the rest of the story going so slowly. It was a long time getting to the test, then everything that happened during, including school going on break was over too quickly.

Intriguing

This book was intriguing & kept you on your edge of your seat. It was sad to see Tristan go & I hope he comes back in later parts of the story in the books to come. Him & the main character make a good team. They also have good chemistry. Interested to find out more about her grandparents & whomever her father was.
