Inappropriate
The use of the term “crispy critter” in reference to a burn victim, the sexual encounters, the derogatory comments regarding obese people and hillbillies... all uncalled for. This author is a shameful example of a paramedic.

Awful!
I have wish I had read the reviews on this book before wasting my money. I couldn’t get through the first chapter. The author is fat phobic, rude, judgmental and downright mean when describing his fellow human beings. I hope to God he left medicine for a different career. His arrogance was sickening.

Disappointed
I was ok at the beginning but was very taken back and refused to continue the book as he clearly made fun of a Vietnam Veteran that clearly needed help but you would rather call him names and make fun of him. My father served in Vietnam and had problems for a very long time and still does to this day. I will never purchase or waste my time on this author again.

Not Audible Quality
This performance was painful to listen to. The authors attempt at humor were not funny and his continually putting down the people he was supposed to be saving, calling them fat and disgusting was disturbing.
