Resumen del Editor

Can be enjoyed as a stand-alone.

Hades, lord of the underworld, has spent years searching the world for his fated mate. He's watched his brother and nephews find their "light", and yet he can't find his. On the verge of giving up hope, Hades attends his brother Poseidon's wedding - so outside his comfort zone, but his discomfort proves worth it. Because there, at the reception, he finally sees his light.

It wasn't that Ali was uncomfortable around wolves - he'd been a good friend of Claude's for years. But when one of the wolves at Claude's and Poseidon's wedding gets verbally pushy, he feels he has no choice but to shift and find the alpha. What he doesn't expect is to find a beautiful man with soulful eyes, holding out his hand.

After all Ali and Hades have been through in their lives, you'd think the fates would be kind to them. But between Cerberus's howling, Persephone's snarking, and Ali's family proving there is more to them than their blatant wealth, Ali and Hades have their hands full creating a life with each other. But maybe, just maybe, the Mother has a gift for them after all.

This is an MM paranormal true-mates story intended for adults only.

Great story, good performance, painful mispronunciations

I’ve loved this story since it came out and was happy to be able to buy the audiobook.

The narrator does a good job with the story, voices, emotions, etc.

I’m torn, though, about keeping it, because my OCD self is having a really hard time dealing with the pervasive mispronunciations throughout the book. Since this is a book about Hades, Persephone is mentioned repeatedly, and her name is pronounced pr-seh-phone instead of pr-seh-fuh-nee. And mangy wolves are mang-ee instead of mayn-jee. There are a few others that pop up repeatedly — some names & some just common words. It’s like verbal typos, and I’m torn out of the story every time one pops up.

That being said, Hades and Ali’s story is adorable. Ali is one of my favorite characters in this series, small but spunky, and Hades is incredibly sweet. Their low-angst story is one I’ve enjoyed repeatedly.

Overall, the performance is also good, and if I can stomp down on my reactions to the mispronunciations, I’ll be keeping the book

Love this Series, but needs a better narrator.

I have to say that Hades and Ali's book is one of my absolute favorites. So I also have to admit that I disliked the narrator quite a bit. The reason is mispronunciations of common words made it tough to listen to. For example, the Goddess PER-SEF-ONIE (Persephone), yet the narrator continued to say PERCE-PHONE.
Mispronunciation occured with AL-E (ALI'S) name as well he kept saying OWLIE. The last repetitive mispronunciation is the word. Shone. Correct sounds phonetically is (SHOWN) For example, The sun shone down upon his golden hair. Instead, the narrator kept saying SHON. I love everything this Author writes but this is the wrong narrator to keep and hold someone's attention without excessive irritation. Fortunately I read the book prior to listening to it. I've tried listening to it several times, but I don't care for it.
