Resumen del Editor

The Gods Made Me Do It number one.

Madison Worthington has worked hard to get to where he is. Thrown out of his pack at a young age, he finds his home in the San Antonio pack, eventually talking himself into a job as Damien's PA. He doesn't get the respect he'd hoped for, but he holds his head high as he works behind the scenes keeping Damien's club and pack running smoothly. At night he dreams of a mate who will hold him in strong arms and love him just the way he is. Unfortunately, the Fates appear to have other plans.

Sebastian D'Eath, son of Thanatos the Angel of Death, has always known that the Fates would throw a mate in his path. He just didn't realize he had to dive into flood waters to stop the man from drowning. But no matter how cute his mate might look as a drowned rat, Sebastian has his arguments ready. He doesn't want a mate; won't take a mate and no one can make him. However, he soon finds out the Fates have other plans for him, too.

Angry words lead to Madison being captured by a wolf with a sick mind. Salvation comes from an unlikely quarter, but Madison returns to the pack with a change of heart. He has some scores to settle and Sebastian is first in the firing line. Hellhounds, dinners and a red convertible - will Sebastian ever get the man he claimed he didn't want?

Warning: Contains two sexy men, intimate situations, and coarse language. Also watch out for a sexy twink with an attitude that won't stop, a demigod who seriously needs to grow up, and hellhounds that appear without warning.

Fun and unusual

Such an unusual spin on shifter romances. Vibrant and moody characters and yet very sweet. Entertaining.

Another really good one!

I always buy Lisa Oliver's books and audiobooks. I really enjoyed the story, and the way that it braided with the Cloverleah series was brilliant. I had a hard time liking Sebastian in the beginning, but it helped a great deal when he got a reality check and got over himself.
John York is as always amazing and can always be counted on to bring the characters to life.

Mehh, I wouldn’t recommend Using a credit for it

This book was just Mehh. I didn’t like the whole sub/DOM thing that was mentioned or the old harem type deal with a bunch of broken runaways. The main story wasn’t bad but that part wasn’t done well nor was it something I would’ve liked to have been part of the story line. It easily could’ve been written out.

I also found the narrator’s voices unpleasant. The accents were not great.

I still listened to the whole story but I honestly wish I wouldn’t have spent a credit on it. If it was in the free catalog then maybe I would’ve felt better about it but was just not worth the credit for me.

Just ok

If one looks at the list of this author’s books, she pumps out 1, 2 or 3 a year. It is a generic book despite wolf shifters, Greek Gods, and a smidgen of bdsm. The characters a can pretty much say or act in any way that moves the plot along since they are just the outlines of a real person.

One main character is very whiny but they may be partly the readers fault. This character swims between excessively emotional, extremely competent, ignored snubbed bullied & praised and feared. It all rather random.

Although this is a spin-off of another series & it may be explained there, I find the “roster of subs” as the book describes a bunch of young men to be immoral & repulsive. They are a bunch of uneducated & formerly kidnapped or discarded children trained to service pedophiles. It is just at the corners of this book but the main business which
brings all these characters together exploits these damaged and affection starved young adults. If one thinks about it, it is a very dark place but a few find a Prince Charming with a happy ending. The author and book ignore the rest and the morality of everyone else.
