I am planning to become a Coach and this book will help me a lot , this book concerned about mentality of the players. best book of football I read.

Words alone can’t express how much I love this series by Dan Blank.

My daughter has learned so much from these books! They’ve created some great “natural” discussion between us about opportunities for take her game to the next level while also acknowledging the things she’s already doing well. In short, Dan has a wonderful way of distilling important soccer “know how” into applicable bite-sized nuggets of goodness that we can appreciate!

great insights for athletes and coaches

I'm glad that Coach Dan Blank took the time to collect these simple but often overlooked insights. It's no wonder this book is a best seller in the Soccer genre. My only word of caution is that it may not be good for pre-teen readers as some of the language is geared toward a high school to college aged audience. But the lessons can definitely be applied to pre-teen athletes.

Must have for serious student athletes and coaches. There’s always variation in soccer methodology so agree to differ in opinion; well presented and extremely relevant to the sport.

very helpful to players as well as coaches

I'm just a casual player and a lover of the sport, so I like learning more about it. this gave me a coaches perspective which is very different from a player's perspective. a player sees the battle, but the coach sees the war! great little tips that could improve performance of the players and saves you years. his observations simplify the game for the players. if you pay attention to the details he outlines, it will make you a much more efficient and valuable player. I've been watching and playing soccer for 30+ years and I can tell you he has some very good common sense ideas to share here. enjoy!
