I love this book and author so much! And the narrator though new to me did an absolutely amazing job. I loved the accent he used for one of the MCs. Overall I give this audiobook all the stars!!

A Sweet Instalove Romance

The first novella in a new series, Soaked is a quick read/listen that’s chalked full of fluff and sweetness. The main characters are fated mates, and—in line with the fated mate trope—they fall in love instantly. I thought it was a sweet instalove story with some humor, and a dash of angst and drama to keep things interesting. The narrator did a great job with the different voices. I found it very easy to follow along in the narration and enjoyed it.

Loved this sweet fated mates story!

This was a sweet story about Malik who is Poseidon’s son and Blaze a human. I loved Blaze, so sassy! This was my first story by Jayda Marx and I absolutely loved it! Mark Reece Healey was a new to me narrator, he did a fantastic job with the narration!

A Wonderfully Delightful Story & Listen🎧

I loved everything about this book, from Jayda Marx’s wonderful writing style to the fabulous characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narrator who brought it all to life from the pages to your ears. This delightful story is a great mood lifter, it puts a smile on your face and leaves it there for the entire book. Malik, a demi-god who commands the water, he is able to manipulate and control the weather, and and all the creatures in the sea. After a long life under the sea, he learns he has a mate, a human, who does not know of his world but he will find him and teach him all he needs to know. Blaze lives a very guarded life, he lives in his books and stays close to things that he knows and is familiar with. His mother’s dying wish was that he remains close with his sister, so they see each other at least once a month. Spending time with her at the beach, they witness a hunk of a man heading their way, she thought she was heading her way, not toward him, but she was wrong, the god of a man was heading to Blaze, his mate. Malik was an absolute doll, not entirely knowledgeable about how things worked in the human world so he just winged it with the help of some. Because of terrible experiences in his past, Blaze is not very trusting and blows Malik off, but a determined Malik finds him so he could win him over. This is a fabulously delightful paranormal romance, the author fit an impressive amount of story into her novella sized book and created an original and imaginative spin on the Greek Mythological God Poseidon and his world. Jayda Marx, thank you for this wonderfully entertaining story!

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Mark Reece Healey did a fabulous job bringing these characters to life, humanizing them, giving each their own distinct voice and personality, making it easy to follow along and tell who is how. He had a complete understanding of the characters he portrayed, taking each role and making it his own. He set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into his performance. Mark Reece Healey is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the great listen.

Fire and water, we belong together

This isn’t what I expected but a very pleansat and enjoyable listen and surprise. I have never listened/read a Jaydta Marx book before but I think this is so much to my taste.

A demigod finding his fated mate and true love in a human. Malik, a son of Poseidon and a demigod himself controls water and has the ability to control and manipulate weather and also able to command the creatures of the sea. After living all those years under the water, he finally found out he actually has a mate who is a human living on of course above. Blaze lives a very ordinary and guarded life with his books and meeting his sister at least once a month according to his mother’s wishes. When a smoking hot man walked towards him on the beach, Blaze’s first reaction was distrust and fear. However Malik is determined to win skittish Blaze’s heart and teach him all about the wonderful life under sea. Malik has a long way ahead of him if he wants to win Blaze’s head and for him to become his mate.

Like I said, this is my very first book the author but I’m delighted by this intriguing and lovely story. Malik and Blaze are people with different personalities but they fit so well together. I also like the paranormal aspect of this book and how author skillfully weaved Greek mythology into the story. Narrator is also new to me but I enjoyed his narration. Looking forward to try more books from this author.

I loved this book. Mark Reece Healey really brings this story to life and makes you love the characters even more. Malik is the son of Poseidon. He has the power of the sea at his fingertips. The advisor to his father tells Malik of his fated mate. Malik goes in search of his human mate. Blaze has a spirited personality but his past has made him set up a walls to guard him. Can Malik show Blaze how amazing he truly is and win his heart?

Opposites attract

For an insta love, fated mates story, this was cute. The touches of angst helped things along keeping them from being over sweet and I liked Blaze's nerdiness and growing self confidence with Malik. Overall, a fun novella that I enjoyed listening to. Mark Reece Healer is a new to me narrator and I thought he did a great job bringing this book to life.

Great Listen

Soaked is a sweet, no angst story about the son of Poseidon, Malik, and a sassy human, Blaze. Insta-love, sweet characters. I loved Blaze, his inner strength was such a joy to see, and Malik is just swoon worthy. I received an ARC of this audio for my honest review.

Fated Mates

This was a low angst sweet story of fated mates Malik and Blaise. Malik is a demigod who learns that his fated mate, Blaise, is a human. Blaise doesn’t have any experience with dating/men and is very insecure due to a traumatic incident in his past. It is hard for him to believe that someone as physically perfect as Malik could be interested in him. Malik is sweet and persistent and finally wins him over. The narration was very good and I really enjoyed this audiobook.
