My love life is kind of a mess. Okay, fine, it’s nonexistent. Believe it or not, short, chubby, and furry aren’t characteristics that top most guys’ boyfriend checklists; no guys I’ve met, anyway. My dating history is a shit parade of one-night stands with men who promised to call the next day but never did. And so, I’ve put finding love on the back burner to focus on my business.

Anyway, business is good, but it could be better, so I’ve scheduled a meeting at The Caldwell, the fanciest and most successful hotel in the city in hopes of striking a business deal with them.

Nervous but hopeful, I head to my meeting, not expecting to have my world rocked when I meet Simon, a gorgeous, debonair, charming man who is 16 years my senior. What starts off as a business partnership soon develops into something greater than I ever dreamed of.

This stand-alone M/M age gap romance is for listeners 18 and up! It is low angst and insta-love, and is full of funny scenes, feel-good moments, and lots of steam! There is no cheating or cliff-hangers, and it has a very happy HEA.

What I was hoping for

The book was what I was hoping for: sweet romance and low angst. I expected even less bumps on the road than the MCs had but I'm glad the conflicts were sorted out fast. Narrator was very talented too. Every character had a distinct voice that made them unique, even the males from females. Kudos to him :)

I love all of Jayda's books. They are like a warm blanket on a cold day. Super sweet feel good stories. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters to life. I can't wait for more Jayda audiobooks!!
