This low-angst, insta-love M/M shifter romance features steamy scenes between fated lovers who are on a fast-track romance. It contains no cheating, and a very happy happily ever after! This is a complete story which leads into the next book of the series, featuring a new couple.

Loved it!

I love this author and I’m so excited that her books are going to audio. This book is short but so sweet and steamy. Love the second characters as well. The narrator did an amazing job. Hope he continues with the series.

Loved it

I loved this book. Mark Reece Healey really brings this story to life and makes you love the characters even more. After Zane and his dad Grayson said they saw a mountain lion turn into a boy people thought they were crazy. After being made fun of they moved to a cabin in the woods. They continued the search to prove they weren't crazy but never found them again. Many years later Grayson is sick and Zane goes looking for the creatures they saw for his father. Zane runs into trouble with a bear. Ridge hears his cry for help. Ridge and Rowdy run to help but his mate is gravely injured. To save him he claims his mate. When Zane wakes scared and confused ridge realizes he misunderstood Zane. Can he convince Zane of his love and live happily ever after?

One of my favorites!

I have read this book numerous times! I was super excited to hear this story as an audiobook. Ridge and Zane are so sweet and sexy together. I loved Zane's dad Grayson. Jayda Marx's books are my happy place. They always make me smile and I know I will be getting a sweet, hot, low angst story pretty much every time. It was great seeing Rowdy again and I cannot wait for his and Grayson's story. Mark Reece Healey did an incredible job bringing this story to life. Zane's voice is perfect and Ridge has that adorable country boy twange.

I tried but this author is just not for me

I really struggle with simplistic instalove stories when a MC starts using ‘my love’ and ‘my mate’ the first time they address the other MC. The storytelling is too childlike and overly dramatic - I miss the richness and thoughtfulness of good character and relationship development. This is my second and definitely my last Jayda Marx story, her writing is just not for me. Audio narrator Denver Stevens two accents suited the story, but were a little cartoonish for my taste.
