Superb

The VA absolutely crushed it on every level. The overall writing is so much better than the light novel presents it as well as the VA reads things like stats more clearly than the novel presents them though it can be tedious when a character does a full appraisal

Better pacing than the first volume

Volume 2 seems to have a bit more action. The ending had me hooked for volume 3.

enjoying it just as much as rhe anime.

I am surprised by how very little the novle goes into all the battles, compared to the anime, but I'm enjoying the small glimpses into more characters and other details. And the narrator is doing a good job! On to the next one!

Still good

Good enough to keep going with the series. I like it well enough. Hope they come out faster.

Ms okaba I hate

I hated her in general but the way she talks is so bad it makes me want to stop listening. But since it’s only once in a while it’s fine.

I quite enjoyed this and volume 1, will definitely be buying the next volume

Make Appraisal Great Again

Most importantly, I'm definitely going to keep listening. Fantastic story. Even the S, J, and Interlude chapters are interesting, contrary to my anime-driven expectations. The only criticism I have is that now that Appraisal is doing full skill breakdowns, it gets real long. I don't really know how to fix that, since I don't think "just don't tell us all the stats" is really a great option, but if there's more than a few humans/high level monsters being appraised in a book, it's gonna get old fast the way it's done now (Also, that's not to criticize Caitlin Kelly's computer voice. If I could give her 6 stars for her performance, I would.) So, I hope they find a way to MAGA in future books.

I thoroughly enjoyed this light novel and the narrator. it helped me go through a 10-hour Drive. It was very entertaining and I'm looking forward to listing to more as they release.

Splendid listening experience

Huge fan loved the first book. Second book does not disappoint. Great story great voice actor.

ngl I'm not a fan of the sister

Like why did the author make her like that it's not as bad as it could be but still. Like what's with the brother complex. The author shows they can write a more appropriate complex with the male mc. To be honest I'm not a fan of the human segment as a whole like I know the purpose they serve but (all my options obviously) the mc guy for the humans is so passive and has no personally to a point it hurts. The elf teacher way of talking is to much at times. And the author blatantly spells out that sexual preference is determined by the body not the mind or the soul . So if your a man you like women if your a woman you like men and that all there is to it. I know it's this is ment for a younger audience so I'm not still giving it a a rating based on that I just home the story improves if not at least not it’s worse on the point I brought up. I’ll still enjoy continuing this series. Can’t wait to start the next book.
