Interesting

The plot description doesn't do this short story justice. The plot is interesting. Law enforcement agencies have the ability to go into a snapshot. They look for clues and items to help solve crimes in the real world. What starts out as a routine investigation develops twists. I can not see a way to explain this clearly without it being a spoiler. Give it a try and see for yourself.

A Pilot Episode for another Sanderson World

An enjoyable short story that there is no reason not to listen to. It has everything you like about Sandersons books but shrunk down to 2 1/2 hrs. #tagsgiving #sweepstakes #Mindbending #NearFuture #Suspenseful

What a twist

It's cliché to have a plot twist. But one done with finesse by sanderson knocks the ending of the book out of the ball park. Being a short novella really helped maintain a decent pace through the book. Great read.

Brandon Sanderson has yet to disappoint.....

I enjoyed this book is it lived up to the imagination Sanderson seems to have. It was more of a short story but it was reminiscent of the of the TV series Tales from The Twilight Zone which were always entertaining .

Sanderson Writes Great "Snapshot" of a Story!

Usually I dislike this type of reality tomfoolery. But oddly enough I could stand it from Sanderson. it's very well written and quite enjoyable.

It brings up quite a few questions about the world it is written in, but Sanderson's books always do that.

The performance is great. Almost has a Dragnet feel to it.

Fun detective story.

As an IT guy, in 2024. I could see some glaring plot holes. But I have to remember, this book was written a while ago. 2016? Either way. Considering the Herculean effort and technology used to create the snapshot. Could there have been a better way to do the things? Yes. But, none of those would have made for a fun detective story.

Turning off critical thinking.

This was a good story. Well written, fun, exciting. Deeply thought out protagonists and story. I enjoyed this book.
