Pretty Good!

Amanda made this book very relatable! I would actually love to read a book that allows us to kind of know more about her on a personal level. I have a very very similar personality as her where i am passionate and opinionated and not liked by many because I’m misunderstood. I was hoping to get more of her perspective on situations that she’s been through for the reasons she’s that way as well!! Other than that still a very great read!

Best book of the year

I’m so glad I finally got to read this book!
Amanda is always spot on and has her finger on the pulse of the culture. Her book is everything I wanted it to be. Hands down the best book of the year for me.

Black Brilliance

I absolutely enjoy the topics and the indepth conversation about the reality of being me, a Black woman. It's hard to navigate this world but surely gets easier hearing another black woman talk the same talk and give guidance and validation to my experience! Love love it

I love the honest and authentic nature of this book. I loved learning more about Amanda and hearing some much needed truth. She drops knowledge on being Black in the workplace, creating your own path, fighting Racism and so much in this book.

a real talk about life, love and living with jokes

I really enjoyed this book, it had me laughing and taking notes. I enjoy her podcasts so this was like a focused group of the show. She opens up about her life and challenges good and bad and I think it's great to show and talk about "the real", no pun intended lol. I will look to continue to support and am looking forward to the follow up!
