I honestly loved the second one maybe more than the first one. Kat and Bennet story had me giggling and cheering them on. The full cast done is duet was perfection. The VA really brought the story to life like you were watching the train wreck in person.

I NEED MORE FOOD SCENES! 🤣

Why are the food scenes so hilarious?! That's neither here nor there, we need stories for Maverick, Eve, Ice Pick, Rose/Grim (like a prequel type thing) & hell, even Jim! Amazing job, Lauren & narrators, BRAVO! 🙏🏼❤️

The full cast of narrators did an amazing job bring these characters to life. Slay Ride was just as hilarious as Sinners Retreat. The banter is top tier and will definitely have you laughing out loud.

better than the first

I liked the first book but this one was better. you need to hear book 1 for this one to make sense. I am trying to figure out the logistics of the turkey thing...

I was enthralled!

I was absolutely immersed in their love story. It was funny, cute, and spicy! My only complaint is the hate the MMC received. It was over the top and honestly diminished the connection between the characters for me. It would have been different if literally anyone had stood up for him and defended him, but he just kept getting made fun of and maligned and I don’t like seeing that in real life let alone reading about it. I just don’t think it was necessary to do all that.

But…the rest of the story was delightful and I had such a fun time listening.

A little bit traumatized, but I have no regrets.

What the food did I just listen to and what does it say about me that I enjoyed it? Am I a little bit traumatized? Yes. Will I be reading the next one? Also yes.
Loved the narrators, they really brought these characters to life. The female voice actress captured that character perfectly.

There is nothing to not like about this book.
it's hilarious, it's got great character development, it's hot, AND it's Lauren Biel.
