An EnjoyableRead

What did you like best about Sittin' in the Front Pew? What did you like least?

I liked how the story was able to embed and draw you in to the story as though you were actually there. The characters are life-like The author did a good job of capturing the essence of grief and its aftermath on the family while bringing a sense of humor into the plot. Any family that has experienced the lost of a loved one will be able to relate to the story and how grief effects each family member differently creating complications. Overall, I enjoyed listening to the story line even though I thought the plot was somewhat predictable at times ( I was able to guess what was going to happen next).

Family; Death & Destruction

Death causes many heartaches but we all must deal with it. In this story, four sisters will learn things about their loved one after his death that will open their eyes to the brevity of life.

Old Memories

I loved this book!!! It brought back memories from funerals I had attended while growing up in Miami, Florida. The secrets families hide, the truths that come out the lives that are changed from the truth being revealed and most of all being able to look back at it all and laugh.

This book is my favorite if only because of the laughs and the memories recalled. ;0)

Enjoyed the reader of Sitting on the Front Pew

The story line was unique and familiar at the same time. I laughed and cried.

Funny

This book was hilarious to listen to. Four sisters who suffer the loss of their father, go crazy trying to make funeral arrangements and uncover his secret while going at each others throats.

Narrator was a little distracting

I could hear the narrator swallowing between phrases or during long sentences. Her diction and character portrayals were great..

LOVED IT!!

Narrator is always on point- to me,kept me interested ,and loved the ending! Made me want to seek more of her work
