Great Plot, Average Writing

I loved the books' plot and the authors technical knowledge of WW2 submarines is outstanding. There is plenty of action and the plot twists keep the storyline engaging. However, the extensive chatty dialog and sex that added nothing to the plot made listening occasionally tedious. I would give an extra star for each hour of chatting, chuckling and sex that was eliminated.

fun read

This story held your attention and was a fun read. The characters were well developed and even though this is the latest in the series it was easy to follow all the characters if you haven't read the previous books. The ending was satisfying as well as the story arch.

Exceptionally Intense and Entertaining

An interesting yarn with plausible strands. Almost unbelievable however, truth can be stranger than fiction. Fantastic job of going back 75 years to develop and complete the story. I just started with Choices nine days ago and I am about to jump in the car and start listening to book seven. Thanks Scott!

Wow o Wow what a great story

Scott you done it again and I love how this tale played out, and dear fellow listeners what an awesome tale it was. Although it was very heartbreaking to see how old history played out.

kept guessing and always elements of fun

This is not a serious criticism but the sometimes I could not hear the difference between the characters by the narrator's voice but over all a good listen and never a boring moment!
I don't appreciate profanity and am sad it seems to be "must" as the author insists on using it throughout each of these novels.
