So good but cliffhanger

I liked the characters. Kinda think the fmc could have been a little less whiny, but it doesn't hurt the story. The mmc was really good

As you Should Already know this book is Part Of a Series in the IVANOV CRIME FAMILY.

Yes, These books are part of series, but can be enjoyed as stand alones, because each book focuses on that books couple.,
but ,,,
it is so much better to invest in the series, because of the Banter between the men and some references used and the women as they all reflect on their own stories.

The Banter between the guys is pretty good, laugh out loud moments,

Especially if you listened to all the books . lol

This Book, BK 6 Sinister Promise is the 3rd book of the cousins to Brothers Gregor and Damien in books 1 and 2 in the series .

Book 4 through 7 is focused on the Ivanov Cousins.

In this book Pavel is probably the Harshest character So far as all the guys seem to be gruff alpholes in this series, 😉 but like rest, their women soften them somewhat. 😊

but ,,, This book Has a Twist !!

We have for the 1st time in the series A CLIFF HANGER !

Which Normally I Do Not Like, but honestly it was really well done , to the point I can't Wait for the next book. And for me,,,, THAT NEVER HAPPENS !

Now for me, I don't have any issues with these books or have triggers .

I know what I'm going into but for some There May be trigger warnings.

So There are Like the rest of the books Punishments, Anel sex and maybe some intense sex scenes, but No BDSM Scenes if that's what you are looking for, it's not here.

Something I like to add to my Review is a Character Description as For me I can relate better to the Character having an idea of who the Story is about, and hopefully it helps others connect to them as a well with a description.

Pavel & Alina

Ugh! While I’m used to Zoe Blake’s flavor of dark mafia, and the rapey scenes, Alina was virtually helpless with little spunk. Granted her grandmother’s wellbeing in the nursing home being threatened played a huge motivator, it was still irritating at her complete resolve. Unlike the bulk of the other reviewers, I am not a Pavel fan. I like the earlier books much better & as someone else wrote in a review, it’s the same story with different players. Thankfully, she’s a decent author, so I kept the stars on the higher end. I purchased the Audio and these are 2 of my favorite narrators.
