Great but too much TikTok

Mr. Derulo provided great and simple advices as well as insights as to what real success requires. However, there was a bit too much raving about Tik Tok to my liking.

Also a little tip to Mr. Derulo regarding body and mind. The mind doesn’t control the body. It’s you who control your mind and therefore the body too. And you’re not your mind - nor your body. Don’t want to get too philosophical in this review but just ask yourself: who’s watching? If you’re able to observe your thoughts - that is your mind, then who’s watching? ;)

Amazing listen!

I really enjoyed this audio book. I'm so happy Jason DeRulo narrated his book- you could definitely hear the passion in his voice as he read. I learned a lot about his career path that I didn't know about which was very inspiring. It was also fun to learn 'behind the scenes' knowledge with some of his stories he shared.

I do feel like parts of the book were a little heavy on discussing social media and how to succeed with it which I wasn't expecting or really looking for. I also had hoped he would discuss how he juggles his insane schedule and having a son, but the focus was definitely how to succeed in your career and stick with the grind. His work ethic is admirable and he has overcome so many obstacles to get where he is. Excited for his new album!

As a person who actively did not listen to Jason’s pop music, I’m blown away by the way, he describes his approach to creating, improving, and accomplishing big endeavors in life.

Much respect because it is read by the author so the stories pop when you hear it through his voice! Additionally, the book serves as an example of many of the principles he discusses within. This one is not your half hearted origin story book, this one is masterfully written with the intent to put truth into the reader!

Full ringing endorsement from someone who wasn’t a fan before! Better than your average bio and any personal development book out this year!
