another great book

not as good as the first book, but still an amazing read. the narrator is God tier and does a great job reading this book.

A New Favorite

This might just be my new favorite fantasy novel/series of all time! I highly recommend it!

Incredible story by Shel and beautifully narrated by Vance

Simon Vance’s performance had me enthralled with the second installment of Mike Shel’s Iconoclast series. An engaging sequel to Aching God that kept me wanting more. Looking forward to listening to the final installment of the trilogy.

These books are intense!

Found this series off a random reddit thread searching for something new to dig into. when I saw there were audiobook versions I figured why not give it a go. So glad I did!

not as good as #1

it was a good book of course but it wasn't as scary as Aching god and without that then this is just another fantasy book

My Friend Agnes

I recently suffered the loss of my brother leaving me alone, abandoned. I feel as if I am Agnes; with her strength and courage to move forward from the beautiful sacrifice of father. Wondering now how the new queen with her young gifted soccer at her side will go forth. Mike Shell is an author to watch and read. Worth the read

This author and series are becoming one of my favorites. I love how it is writes and can’t wait to hear what’s next.

An amazing must read dnd style adventure story.

I loved this book and it was just as good as the first. Idols fall is next and I excited for how it will end!

Good but not as good as the first book.

Headline says it all. This book was good but nowhere near as good as the first book. I think a lot of that had to do with there now being 2 main characters you get PoV from. The new one was just an unlikable ass. The author was continually telling how incredible this character is yet the character’s actions did not reflect that. Is it worth a read? Yes, especially if you’re invested in the story. Just temper your expectations.
