Very cool story

Love the feel of the story and the way it’s written. Grabbing characters. Good all around

Whew long but worth it

Decent story all the way through but toward the end things seemed to get stringy while making sense tbh I can’t stand Sam by the end of the book
Simon Vance will always get the highest of praise from me one of the only reasons I picked it may check out ac other works for sure

A wonderfully narrated adventure with good action, character development and plot variance

The series was great with the second book being my favorite, Spirit tried to be a bit too ‘epic’ with ‘surprise’ reveals but it still was a great read that left me wanting more, but fully satisfied with what I got. Will definitely give other works by the author a chance.

Swashbuckling sword and sorcery!

An over sexed chaotic good prince and vaguely sociopathic chaotic neutral lesbian priestess traipse around the country stumbling into a duel between sorcerer cabals.

Highly recommend, 10/10 pure dorky swashbuckling fun. Simon Vance remains one of my favorite narrators, he's impeccable.

Great collection, well worth a listen.

I really enjoyed the writing of AC Cobble, who I had never heard of before. Overall, I would say the writing style reminds me of Brent Weeks, and this is really brought to life by the excellent narration of the always amazing Simon Vance.

Incredibly creative

I thoroughly enjoyed this series and Simon Vance is perfect for its content. The best part is, though a fantasy, it is also a mystery. The plot lines are intricate and the surprises delightful. I really, really want an air ship!

Great read/ listen

I really enjoy this series. Every time I told myself “well I’ve got this figured out” the story or characters would go a different direction. It is definitely worth your time.

Love the dialogue

This series brings together so many things I loved as a kid—but in an adult fashion. It has mystery, sorcery, magic, dragons, monsters, pirates, exploration, warfare, and so much more. I’ve read the other series from A.C. Cobble, and The Cartographer has the best dialogue—especially between Oliver and Sam. As a reader trying to solve the mystery, you feel like you can guess it early on, but there’s an unexpected twist. I really enjoyed this one.
