Nalini Singh needs to stop using the word 'primal'

This book was decent, but it wasn't inspiring, and I probably won't be rereading it.

Romance with just enough humor

I’ve enjoyed all her books in the pay changling series. There’s plenty of time given to let the relationship grow, natural honor. There are sex scenes but not the focus of the plot. Some audio of romance books is just too graphic for me. This was just right.

Amazing!!!

Nalini is my favorite author!!! I love her books and this one made me laufh so much! I love the funny, playful and naughty alpha Teddy Bear. I recommend this audiobook!

SyFy! Romance! And a Fight for Unity!

I am a serious syfy addict, but also a die-hard romantic and this book gives me both as well as action, drama, multiple storylines, and a plot to keep the world's cultures divided. Score! After listening to this, and the narration is on point, I discovered that its the first in its series, but 16th in the overall. I am so looking forward to the rest now. This may be as good a reason as any to sign up for the unlimited romance package.

Great book and excellent narration

Another winning entry in the psy-changeling series. This is Silver Mercant's story. A lot happening with the three races, and an intriguing ending. I'm anxious to see where it leads. A special nod to Angela Dawe, who does a fabulous Russian accent for the characters, and each character has his/her own special voice. Well done!

Angela Dawe & Nalini Singh...

Nalini Singh is by far one of the best authors I've read. Adding Dawe's voice completely brings the story alive and vivid. Audible books can have a Major drawback OR the best possible performances, adding an additional layer to a wonderfully written story.
A wonderfully written story may in fact lose"face" with the wrong narrator. I have also come to believe that even a good narrator, reading a book, yet does not 'understand' the story will not deliver the best potentials they can offer.
This is not and has never been the case with this author-narrator pairing. I hope these pairings continue, turning Audible into it's truest art form. Thank you for the countless hours of wonderful distractions!

The next chapter in this series is perfect

Because she is Silver f***ing Mercant - I loved that!!! This newest addition was absolutely brilliant. Valentin was her perfect mate. She has a major backbone & can give as good as she gets. In previous books she appeared meek & that is so not true. I know this book just came out (and very glad that the audio was released at the same time as the e-book) but I need the next book in the series.
