Love it

I love the storyline. I don’t understand why the issue keeps happening after she has a ‘spell.’ Writer also uses repetitive descriptions to a t so it becomes monotonous at times. I really like the silent Luna story and recommend it. It has tough topics, but nothing is more than tv-14 I think.

A few triggers

I’m not too into the shifter or paranormal genre but I enjoy diving in every now and then. This one may have a few triggers for some, so I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who is sensitive to certain things. There were no in-depth details of violence and rape, but it was talked about.

I didn’t necessarily feel the passion between the two main characters. It seemed a little forced in the beginning of the story. I don’t understand why the female lead kept passing out and I think that detail was a bit distracting from the main plot.

Didn’t entirely enjoy the ending. Even though some questions were answered, I still felt like I was missing something. Like I mentioned, this type of genre isn’t my favorite, but this story didn’t focus too much on the wolf aspect. It was about the relationships and I enjoyed that.

Ending was a let down

I really liked the concept behind this story. The overall all idea was a great one. The story ran out of gas at the end. The ending was such a let down. If a story is going to end be it sad or happy explain why. I honestly thought I missed some chapters with the way it ended. There was no resolution for many side characters. The two main characters ending was so disappointing. I looked to see if there was a book 2 so I could get a little closure.
I wouldn’t say don’t read it because the story idea was very good but be prepared to be unfulfilled at the end.
The narrator was ok. The male speaking parts were a rough. I also felt she floated back and forth between a kid like and adult voice for the main heroine. That was distracting.

Almost perfect

I rally loved this book. But the ending wasnt as I wanted it to be.

The middle of the story is good.The beginning and end seem to drag. At some points the narrator talks very slow.

Nice read

I had a great time listening Scottie Calif bring life to this story. It was a fast and enjoyable shifter read.

Great romantic read

Loved it! Audible version is good. Might shorten the ending a bit but otherwise if this is a first book she did a fantastic job. Waiting to see what comes next!

Emotional tale of moving on after trauma

Narrator Scottie Calif was so good at bringing the emotion to Grace's internal monologue.
Because of that it was hard at times to listen to what Grace had gone through while missing.

The experience is made easier by the nature of being with a fated mate. The instant connection between Grace and James made the the healing and moving on easier. His anger and guilt over things he had absolutely no control over was intense. But he was also very gentle, understanding and very restrained when needed. He just wanted to help Grace heal and be there for her in whatever way she needed. He was also very quick to put her at ease, to correct her thoughts of self-doubt and sense of being inferior due to her experiences.

The story alternated between stretches of slow burns and quick paced "what just happened" moments.

Overall, I enjoyed it and will listen to it again.

Great read!

I thought this was a great listen. Couldn’t put it down. I listen to this book in one day.
One thing I didn’t like was the ending. It was too abrupt for me.
