The injured are hurriedly loaded onto a C-5 Galaxy bound for Germany, but once airborne, the commander, Major Michael Parson, receives a message. The jihadists have placed bombs on some planes leaving Afghanistan, and the Galaxy is one of them. If Parson tries to descend - the bomb will go off.
Parson, Gold, and everybody else aboard are trapped at altitude, until either they or someone on the ground can figure out what to do. They can refuel in midair, but not indefinitely. Gripping from start to finish
Just when you think one threat is eliminated, another one comes along. Great listen/read for those interested in military history, aviation, or just want to find out how airmen take care of one thing going wrong after another while up in the air thousands of feet. Be ready to not be able to get away.

The reader was spot on for this type of drama
I was amazed that a story of a single flight could maintain the tension and drama for the entire 9 hours or so that the book took to read

For a book taking place on a jet in flight it kept me interested
I thought this book would be a boring one but the author kept it interesting the entire time. Well worth the listen.
