Love the Sassiness and Alpha men! ❤️

This might be short but it’s is full of everything I love about the Operation Alpha series. Danger, sassy females, over the top alpha guys, romance and instant undeniable attraction. This makes my heart beat uncontrollably. I loved both of these characters. Nebraska is strong, sassy and I love her idealism. Slider...boy he got sucked into a job that turned out to be his best job ever. I could only imagine his feelings at explaining to his boss why he didn’t get more details on a car that tried to run him and Nebraska down. He was a little busy playing kissy-face. How embarrassing.

Overall this is a great story! I loved it and am happy to listen to it. The narrators Ada Sinclair and Matt Patterson are both new narrators to me. They did a wonderful job portraying each of the characters.

I loved it!

This is the first book in the Fierce Protectors Series. I like novellas! Nebraska and Slyder are great characters. Slyder is a Navy SEAL, and an alpha protective man. Nebraska is a beautiful actress, feisty and strong. They share a sizzling chemistry. This story is well written and well developed. The storyline has suspense, action, and romance. Ada Sinclair and Matt Patterson did a fantastic job with the narration. I love their voices together. I enjoyed it.

Romantic suspense!

I love novellas, and I especially love them when they are romantic suspense! Casey Hagen has given us Nebraska, an American Indian actress in need of a bodyguard. She is outspoken about issues she feels passionate about and seems to have gotten herself in a little trouble. Slyder Ward, is brought in to keep her safe, but finds out he cannot keep his hands off her! Will his feelings get in the way of his job? Does she feel the same? Will trouble keep following her? I love Nebraska. That girl has sass! She is passionate, and unapologetic! Slyder is the one you want guarding you. Protective and irresistible, he will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Action packed, steamy and a surprise you are not ready for! It's a great short and you will want to grab it!

Ada Sinclair and Matt Patterson bring it all to life with a fantastic narration. Sinclair has just the right amount of sass in her voice to portray Nebraska without being over the top. She adds a hint of vulnerability but never gives up that sense of stubbornness. Patterson is alpha male all the way and brings it out in Slyder. This is a great team and a great listen!

Alpha hero with headstrong heroine - what’s not to love?!

Casey was a new-to-me author but I will be a frequent purchaser now!

Nebraska is a headstrong actress who happens to be Native American with a strong sense of justice. Because of some threats, she has a security team that she feels smothered by.

When Slyder, an active SEAL on vacation leave, entered the picture as an addition to her protection team, I expected him to be as overbearing as her security team was. And while he was adamant and protective, I loved that he also was willing to listen to Nebraska and find ways to give her some freedom and not simply strong-arm her because he could.

The chemistry between the two was evident but not overbearing. Because the story itself is somewhat shorter, the romance was obviously going to move at a faster pace, but it was enjoyable and the relationship and tension actually had time to develop.

If you're looking for a book with an alpha male, strong heroine, romance, suspense, angst, and hot bedroom scenes, this is the book for you!

This was an OK listen. I was given a copy of audio version in return for honest review. This book could have used something "more." I am not sure what that should be though! I just felt like it was missing something?

Cute starlet and bodyguard story

Navy SEAL, Slyder, is on leave when a buddy asks for help protecting an actress. Even though Slyder isn’t into Hollywood drama, he agrees and is immediately enraptured by Nebraska. This starlet, though, doesn’t agree to the fact that her mother has hired a security company to keep her safe and isn’t cooperating...until she meets Slyder!
This is a fast paced story with some action and lots of steamy moments. Cute HEA.
