Recommended read

I enjoyed listening to this book as read by the author. She has a great way of guiding the reader through her book as a study guide with many great examples of how to apply what she is teaching or sharing. I finished feeling great about my time spent listening to and following and applying the study recommendations along the way.

She has issues

This audible has taught me to listen to God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Very uplifting and life changing

I loved the way this was written and how the author inspired me throughout the entire book. I recommend this for anyone looking to not only accept their flaws but to work in transforming them.

At first, I was soooo mad, because she mentioned her cabbage doll or whatever, but then I stop myself. It was not her fault that I was born in a family with extreme poverty. I learned today from this audiobook. Thank you.

Healthy and helpful suggestions

Lots of good things to think about regarding anxiety and forgiveness. I like that she read the Bible verses and didn’t just list them. Makes it easier on the audible version

This is worth reading again

Loved this so much! So much wisdom!! I needed this and will be reading it again and again. Loved all the think about questions and all the scripture and prayers

I loved it & boy did it hit home.

The author is right when she says we all have issues. She takes us through steps in how to recognize what our issues are as a knowledgeable counselor, then proceeds to tell us how to help ourselves. An interesting point she made is keeping a journal is like talking to a counselor since it gets everything out of your system & into your view. There are many things we realize about ourselves by setting down and just writing out all your feelings on paper....Mostly a since of relief from writing it all down. Take the journey of self discovery with her.

Read it on my own and found it incredibly insightful- would highly recommend as a group book study

Less and less

The more I read the less and less I felt compelled to control things in everyday life. God has so much to help us and this book was an amazing help and assistant to Gods grace compassion and mercy

Life changing

I really like the way this book is broken down into several different “issues” and how to really dig deep and walk through those issues and the possible causes with the help of God and his word. I have already recommended this book to a friend and plan on reading it again myself. It is truly a wealth of knowledge and very relatable. Thank you for such an insightful read. I look forward to diving in a second time!
