Great Idea!!!

This was a great book with a bit of a different storyline. I throughly enjoyed this book and I look forward to the new book in the series! The narration was spot on, Andrew Tell did a fantastic job of bringing this story to 'life'!!! I think this was a realistic book that made me really think about the Near Earth Objects that could possibly happen. Well worth the credit (yes I got this title free but I would buy it if I hadn't). Kenny Soward is a great author, I haven't read anything he had his hand in that I was disappointed in!

Disaster Survival

I loved the stories going on with the different groups of people trying to survive the disastrous effects of being pelted by incoming waves of asteroids. Everybody is besieged by different circumstances and events that are happening around them! How Nick tries to get back to his family, and Chris and Gabby deal with getting through the craziness of a disaster, and the people they encounter along the way! Good stuff, Kenny Soward!

how a family will work apart to come together

this was my first time reading/listening to a book by this author, and this was a good experience, haha not the situation, but the way the author tells a story. So let me dive in and explain what I mean, we have the story told by 3 different people that belong to the same family, Nick the father, tv anchor, Chris (christine the mother) and Gabby the oldest daughter that even though she is 17 she is in dire need of a bottom spanking... so the father had to go to new york when the news of the meteorite (I know its a near earth object or something, but its quite big) arrive, and the decisions he takes at that moment keep him alive, chris was driving to the house of her parents, and at just stopped for snacks when the news of what happened in New york get to her, she could only think about going back home (they have a farm and raise horses) and wait to get some news from nick there, and that is other font of troubles, since they are around a town and when troubles start, people run away from cities and a farm in the middle of nowhere could sound like paradise to some not so good apples, but I wont enter in details, and our third main character, I will be honest, I know teens are stupid and we need to be patient with them, but I just don’t have patience for a kid like her... yes, almost an adult but she is stupid and spoiled, and don’t even regret the things she does bad because its all someone else fault... I swear, if the grandfather dies in the second book it will be because he regrets letting her do, as she pleases... what can a kid that doesn’t have any special skills do, recover dead bodies? The only thing I see her do and I don't see it ending well for her...


I was lucky enough to listen to the audiobook, my only not so good evaluation got to do with, since we had some female characters, I wished that we had two narrators, one male and one female, but we only got one male voice, he did the best he could do, its only my selfish desire. But it was a good book.

its a solid book with the start of what takes place after the end comes our way, and how will they all come together, and to be honest , cant wait to read/listen to what comes next.

Where has this author been hiding?

first time I've ever read a book from this author and I am so glad that I have found him. The book was well written great character development can't wait for the next one in the series.
