Great tips!

I love gardening and always dreamed to have a beautiful garden one day. But I don't have time to do it yet. Plus I think it requires a lot of time and planning for landscaping. I'm glad I found this book. It has all the tips and shows you the steps to having a garden all year round and less work and the less expensive way which I like. I will try someday with these techniques.

Gardening 101!

I know nothing about gardening but this book would help me plan out my areas. I love the chapter on everblooming. (Again something that I never knew about). - stops and directions included! Moving water keeps the mosquitoes away!!

This is a really great book!

I have the strangest backyard. One-third of the area receives full sun all day. Another third has dappled sun and shade throughout the day. Another third has complete shade during the day. I've been trying to find out what/how to plant to take advantage of all three zones, and finally I've found it! I especially like the chapter on low-maintenance plants because it will be useful in one area of my yard. This book combines various solutions into one comprehensive resource. Amazing!

Tremendous resource for those who love to garden!

My wife and I both listened to this. We found this book to be incredibly insightful and believe it will help us be more efficient with our gardens around the house. We learned so much on how to get the garden to look its best year-round. I highly recommend this book to all those that wish their thumbs were " greener " ! This book is terrific!

What a spectacular book! I love gardening but the extent of my knowledge covered very little. This book Shade Garden Flowers did a terrific job of giving tips and examples through the book. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the authors small stories she added in also! I’d be highly upset if I knew I had my hands in manure! This book was enjoyable to listen to and the photos of flowers are beautiful! Highly recommended.

Finally I can stop buying new flowers every year

For as long as I can remember, I have planted new flowers every year. Everyone knows that having a garden look good is a lot of work, and if you have to start over again every year, it is a lot more work. This book is like mana from heaven for people like me...basically, I want a good-looking garden without too much work. Being retired, I have time that I can spend on gardening, but why should I do extra work every year, if I don't have to? If you like to garden like I do, but don't want to spend more money on new plants every year but still have a great-looking garden, then get this book.
