I want to clean up Dane...

So her brother asks her to clean up a friend. Dane, a strong sexy smart millionaire, needs help getting ready for a meeting. A total makeover; haircut, clothes, etiquette, social skills, new foods, etc. Only problem is that Dane is her Ex.
The story is cute and entertaining. I wish it was longer.
The narration is perfect. I'm confident you will enjoy this book.

Ava and Dane battling for attention

The narrators were great but listening to Ava's over drinking plus her stupidity about her past dates she kept telling Dane got old. One time drinking three Marqurita's was enough but the second time screamed that Ava had alcoholic tendencies. Why Dean wasn't turned off after her behavior is beyond me. Her insecure nature just wasn't welcome in this story. Ava did too much inner talk too. Another big discrepancy is that in reality most men don't think of putting their woman's pleasure first. Pure fantasy so it's worth the slow burn towards hot scenes.

Kinda growly Jason Clarke is beyond hot!

Dane and Ava have a history several years back. Although they had it tough growing up, they dealt with their situation differently. No spoilers, but you can see why each of them chose their current profession. Ava in the fashion industry, and Dane as a partner in a venture capitalist firm with his best friends growing up. When Ava's brother asks her to give Dane a makeover to impress and acquire the business of a prospective client, she reluctantly agrees. The Dane Ava remembers is a distant memory, and when he sees her, Dane believes the same about her. They've gone though physical transformations, but they're still the two people they know better than anyone else.

Being in such close proximity forces Dane and Ava to reminisce, and also tackle some difficult truths about each other. This story is a hot one, but it's also a beautiful, touching story of an event that changed their lives forever.

I'm really enjoying this series, and can't wait for the next two partners' stories. Jason Clarke does a wonderful job narrating this, and I'll admit he's the reason I got this audiobook.
For me, it's easier to try a new author with an established narrator. Jason is multi-dimensional, and I've listened to him do all sorts of characters, all of them amazing.

Although you can read/listen to these books as a standalone, you definitely get more out of the stories if you read the first book in this series, Filthy Rich. It's the story of Aiden--Ava's older brother, and best friend of Dane.

Stellar! Completely unputdownable

These audios are binge worthy! I am so glad to have found Julie Kriss and these audios. This story is heartwarming and more emotional than book 1. It's a second chance story so the background of the character's past is pivotal to the choices they make in the present. I loved how the drama factor was low but the character chemistry was high and very well done. The narration, like in book 1, is fantastic!!! These are the types of stories that I enjoy and keep me coming back.

Just as good as the first!

These books are amazing! So good, you won't be able to put them down. The story line are very well written, the narrators are phenomenal!

Second chances

This is book 2 in the Filthy Rich Series and wowza this author has done a fantastic job. These are stand alone books but have the same characters interacting. This one is about Dane, a partner and Ava the little sister of Aiden from book 1.

Dane is the super smart nerd in the company and group of best friends and his social graces need a little polish. Aiden hires his little sister, Ava to clean Dane up for a very important meeting with a potential client. What Aiden doesn't know is Dane and Ava have a history and putting them together for a week is going to get complicated.

This story is so well written. There is so much chemistry between these two characters but there is also love and history and understanding of where they both came from. They have the familiar even though they haven't seen each other for years. I fell right into their story and loved every bit of it.

Jason Clarke and Ava Erickson are so good at what they do you just enjoy it from beginning to end. They voices are both so enjoyable to listen to as well as their timing and grasp on the characters. Great job.

I loved this book and I highly recommend it and can't wait for the next one.

Great series

Really really good all of the books in this series and the narration is awesome Im looking forward to book 4

Next nerd stories are the best!

Excellent sexy nerd story! Even better is that he is Ava's best friend's brother, so there is a forbidden aspect. Throw the second chance on top of everything for these two former lovers and you have the theme trifecta! They have known each other most of their lives. She knows him as a super nerd who was her first lover. When she is sent to give him a makeover he is resistant and shenanigans ensue.

The narration is fantastic and I'm really enjoying this series!

Great story of a second chance.

This really is a great story of a second chance at love for this couple. Great chemistry and steam and the right amount of reveal of their past experiences and lives at appropriate times. However, the should be a trigger warning that most people would not consider. Spoiler alert next! My trigger suggestion is related to women who are struggling to get pregnant, cannot get pregnant or have had miscarriages. I could not listen to the end of this book simply because 1 FMC has sex 1 weekend and ends up pregnant. People try for years and never do and for someone who is going through that struggle, this can be very painful for someone trying to escape in the book. Again, it's not something most people would think about and most readers would love this happy ending to the story. I am just not in a place where I can read this and not get emotional and angry. Up to that point (which is most of the book) it's a great story and I always love these narrators!
