nice story

I liked the story except for when Gio seemed to get the short end of the stick after his aunts visit.

Different in good ways.

A huge hearted chef with an amazing zoo type farm of adopted or fostered animals. A jerk of a businessman who at least cares for his soft hearted down syndrome brother, but has no idea how to help him succeed. Enter said chef and her toothless, declawed favorite celebrity retired TV lion and you have this sweet endearing story. I really love the heroine as I really relate to stubborn independant women who don't take shit from anybody. This woman was strong and didn't let the hero walk all over her. I hate doormats. This story did not disappoint as so many have. I found the narration to be enjoyable and her ability to express proper emotion even when tackling a young gentleman with down syndrome to be relatable and endearing. I highly recommend both the book and the narrator.

Such a good story. It had the right amount of emotions to not be to heavy yet your definitely invested in the story. Good sex scenes;) and plenty of Loll moments.

Heartwarming story...not your typical romance!

Giorgio and Carlina are just perfect! Carlina is strong, hardworking and independent. She develops a special friendship with Giorgio's brother Antonio who has down syndrome. Loved the story and I really enjoyed the narration. There were several cameos from some of your favorite characters: Aubrey and Chance(Cocky Bastard), Simon (British Bedmate), Graham Morgan(Stuck Up Suit), Dexter Truit (Mister Moneybags). A definite must listen!!!

Very Good

Strong female, one sweet man, one alpha-ish man, and a lion all walk into a bar. Good story except for Gio acting like a wuss around his aunt at the end. A real alpha would’ve dealt with her in one blow. Other than that good story.

Sexy Scoundrel

This is by far my favorite Hero Club Novel to date. Maybe it’s because I’m a big animal lover too but I just connected more to this one. Carlina was a great heroine who didn’t take any sh*% from anyone. And Giorgio loves to push her to the limit. They definitely had enemies to lovers tension to the extreme and when they finally gave in-wow it was intense. (Gio is a bit of a Dom so there is some BDSM at play here but nothing too crazy) But aside from that there was the amazing things Carlina did for Antonio too. He is Gio’s bother who suffers from Downs Syndrome. She gets him off the couch, away from the TV and gives him a purpose (and gets him to eat healthy) But of course my favorite character was Leonard the Lion I loved him almost as much as Pixie (the goat from Cocky Bastard- who has a few cameos in this book) This is my first book by Raisa Greywood but I will definitely keep her on my radar for more.

I listened to this book in one day . Carlie is a chef at a nice restaurant with her boyfriend. Gio is a wealthy business man. Carlie’s ex boyfriend stole her good recipes for us own. Carlie can’t stand gio at first . Gio has brother with Down syndrome. Carlie’s sister Kate died who had Down syndrome. Carlie’s friend who runs a animal rescue . Carlie’s friend got a tiger named Lenard . Lenord is retired show tiger . The tiger 🐅 has no teeth . Gio finds out an old girlfriend is pregnant with his baby . Gio’s aunt wants gio to marry her to raise the baby . Sarah dies during childbirth. Sarah has health issues . Gio finds out that Sarah wanted the baby be name Gabe . Carlie ends up with the restaurant she worked at. Gio’s brother was so excited about getting a sister. Hunter gio’s brother didn’t really start to eat healthy until Carlie become his caretaker .

Who doesn’t like a lion as a house cat?

I’m not quite sure why I liked this story so much, but I’ll try to explain. I don’t like a lot of dominant stories, but apparently do like the “service top” that was revealed in one scene of little pain and lots of play. The rest of the sex scenes were normal, and not a lot of detail. Most of this book was about two strong people with big hearts and their efforts to join forces, with realistic and minimal angst and real life getting in the way. And a lion.

Amazing

Giorgio is a man who gets what he wants. Carolina is a woman who doesn’t trust easy. They make for one interesting complicated couple. Could not wait to see where they would end up.
