I liked this book, I read Jessie’s story first so in the back of my mind I was waiting on the scene close to the end where she tells her about the three firefighters but it happened a different way. I loved how it all played out but I kept waiting for that scene to happen and it didn’t.

Sam’s fabulous coverage of a challenging situation and bringing it full view!

As always the story is well written and the narration is amazing! Sam always finds a way to cover a difficult situation in a way we can all feel each step as the characters go thru it.

This could have been half as long

Millie loves to incorrectly guess what’s going on and there are repetitive references to negative past stuff that keeps being dredged up.

As usual this duo does a phenomenal job of being Sam's work alive! I enjoy how each of her contemporary RH flow into one another but can be read as standalones. I absolutely recommend!!
