I adore this series with its ensemble cast of protective hotties. It’s silly and fun and full of love interests scented straight out of Bath & Body Works. It’s not all fluff - There’s an actual adventure plot with side angst and teasers of what’s to come for Evan’s love life, as well as for the kingdom. There’s lots of threads to keep track of…I keep wondering if/when we’ll see Lord Onyx again… or Oreo :) I am excited as ever for the next addition to the series.

Nick J Russo outdoes himself with the laundry list of voices he juggles in this audiobook. Whew! I cannot imagine how he manages to keep them all from blending together — especially in the “family dinner” scenes with the whole extended family of knights and lovers together. He is a FIVE STAR one man show. And the spicy scenes?! He kills it (with fire. So Hot).

Heaps of praise for both absolute gems: Jaclyn Osborn and Nick J Russo! Another masterpiece on Audible. Thank you!

Small SPOILER: Nick is great with different voices but needs a lot of work for his stutter. If it is written "E...E...Evan, p...p...please." it is pronounced "Eh. Eh. Evan. Puh. Puh. Please." not "Eeeeeevan, ppppplease." which sounds more like a moan than a stutter. End SPOILER.

This book gets more in depth with the consequences of what Evan found out in the last book. There was more emphasis placed on that aspect versus the relationship, but that is okay because we have gotten to know Cal through the last three books.

The next three books need to be focused on the additions to the harem as there hasn't been time to get to know them as well, even though Lupin says we already know who the last men are. Each man needs his own book with Evan and the relationship between them all. That is the main reason I think this series needs to be at least nine or ten books. Once the last man gets his own story in book seven, the war with Haren needs to come to a head in book eight (Lupin said that all the men need to be part of the harem, before things get worse, to protect Evan). The war with Onyx can be dealt with in book nine (unless he is the 'elegant man' in Evan's dream). Book ten can be the weddings of Evan and his men, Duke & Braden, Prince Sawyer/Kuya & Lady Alaina/her love interest and Miles & his lady. Then the series can end with the scene from Evan's dream, months in the future, of Evan's men around the table and Evan joining them.

This series is just so fun. I am so happy my favorite cinnamon roll finally got added to the harem. I remember thinking in the first book “how is he not a part of the harem. His interactions with Evan are so cute. They would be so cute together” and then they didn’t end up together and I was so confused but now they are and it makes me happy. Can’t wait for the next book to come out.

this story was a little different than the other three books so far it took a different turn feels more deeper and heavier but the plot gets more interesting the comedy is just as good and the love there really brings tears to your eyes I cannot wait to find out what happens next really worth getting and listening to

Love this series but book 4 doesn't have whispersync

I love this series and the narration is so well done. I'm dyslexic and I use Amazon's whispersync for any of my favorite ebooks. I'm very disappointed that, unlike the first 3 books in this series, this book did not have that feature available. If all new audible books are going to no longer offer that feature I may need to reconsider my kindle and audible memberships.
