The narrator

Loved the book. I really enjoyed the heroines attempts to gain her husband’s attention. There where quite a few points that could have been easily rectified with a conversation but of course propriety’s bs from back then got in the way.
The narrators male impersonation was horrendous. She needs to stick to dual readings only

Frustrating

The book was enjoyable but it just drug out entirely too long. I truly enjoyed the 'Ice Princess' but I wouldn't have waited so long to get my man in my bed, not if it meant getting to a great orgasm.

Poor woman

What does a woman have to do to get her own man to pay attention to her??

Worst narrater ever!

This was actually a pretty good book if you can get past the terrible narration. She was obviously reading from the book at times and put the wrong emphasis on many words. It’s hard to believe no one listened to her narration before it was for sale to us. It’s too bad cause she has a nice voice.

Good Story

Can’t say a lot without spoiling it for others except to say this was a good twist on a common plot. These two are in love but societal norms almost derail them. They discover it’s nothing a good book can’t cure.

Funny and Enjoyably!!
Persistent woman. Stubborn clueless man. This book kept me laughing and wondering what she would do next and how he would react. I am yet to be disappointed by a CCC Callie Hutton books 💕💕

Narrator awful

I almost abandoned this book several times as the narrator sounded like she was painfully reading and over enunciated everything. The story was good and I would have liked to listen to some others in the series but with the same narrator I will not spend my credits on them.

Not so proper

Although this is a good story, it’s one that I’ve heard before the performance as a female was good, but her male characters, not so good. Her husband I thought from the beginning was a little old man until she started describing him and I’m like that voice does not go with what she just described anyway as a whole I guess it’s a four.4️⃣
