Duel POV Mafia

I liked the story, however the delivery was not my favorite. If you like Mafia stories I think you'll enjoy this one as well.

thrilling

This is Angelo and Catarina's story. It is a very captivating and thrilling page turning read. They have a one night stand turned forced marriage mafia romance. I loved the intensity and chemistry between this couple. I couldn't put this page turning read down. I enjoyed that narration made the story all the more thrilling and captivating.

Strong MCs

So this was a cute story, obviously mafia themed but still the way the MMC falls for his “surprise “ was adorable. I however struggled with the narrators. The female was way to extra, and the male wasn’t terrible but was lackluster. I think I’d enjoy this more read as a regular book, as some audio will make or break a book. But I did x1.5 it so it made it a bit better. This was a fast pace book, so get ready for a wild ride.

AND BABY MAKES THREE

Angelo and Catarina and Chelsey. They have an amazing night together. She finds out who he is. She finds out shes pregnant. She does go to clubs to try and find him but doesnt go to any trouble in finding him. 4yrs later he sees her at a club and he knows there is something there but doesnt remember her. She sees him kill someone. He forces her to marry him. They go get her stuff and pu Chelsey. When he sees her he knows and is furious. She wants out she doesnt want the mafia life. I truelly enjoyed this story. Its a soft mafia story. The audible is ok for a soft mafia story.

One Night Stand

Angelo Bianchi and Catarina have a one-night stand and Angelo being the man w*ore he is, does not remember her when they run into each other a few years later. Once he does remember who she is, he knows that he wants her. But when she runs away from him and then watches as he kills someone, she has no other choice but to marry him to stay safe. It is the only way.

There is a lot of back and forth between Angelo and Catarina – they are both selfish people, except when it comes to their daughter. When Angelo finds out that he does in fact has a daughter, he is very mad at Catarina and refuses to be without his daughter again. Angelo is a good father and he is trying with Catarina, but Catarina just wants out of the life and wants to be able to give her daughter a safer life. It is very hard for Catarina to accept Angelo for who he is, regardless of the fact he never gives up on her. Not a fan of Catarina, but Angelo got me the moment he met his daughter and connected with her.

Not for me...

The wonderful thing about books, is that what isn't for me, may be for you. But I'm not personally a fan of leaving negative reviews. So I will just say that I read the book. It's a secret baby-ish, mafia, second chance, forced marriage. If that's your thing, dive in.

The audible was ok. I made it to the end, but again, just wasn't for me. It may have been the story itself. The audible isn't terrible, and truthfully I may have DNFed had it not been on audio.

Silver Eyes for Angelo

Secret Mafia Daddy is an entertaining drama with stubborn, independent main characters who have outstanding chemistry but neither of which want to be tied down. Angelo and Catarina have a complex and fun story, an adorable little girl, and interesting issues to overcome. The male narrator did a great job of bringing Angelo to life, and the female narrator created a very realistic mafia princess.

Secret Mafia Daddy!

This is the story of Angelo Bianchi and Catarina De Luca. It is a mafia romance that is a mix of forced marriage and surprise your a dad. Angelo and Catarina shared an evening of passion that left her pregnant. She never told him. Now she witness a murder and he issues an ultimatum. When he finds out he has a daughter he is mad; rightfully so. As the story develops feelings do to. I like the story but felt it jumped around and could have been written to flow more smoothly. I like the characters and the plot is interesting. The narration was good as well.

A little angsty sometimes but sweet

The story between these two is pretty sweet. Both of them get in their heads sometimes so it was a bit angsty at times but not annoyingly so. Some nice drama to add to the story as well.

So good

I really like Kira Cole's writing, she does a great job including details where you feel the story is real. The narration for this book was good, between the two it came to life. This was a very good listen.
