Excellent story. Outstanding narration.

I didn’t think the first book could be topped. I almost didn’t get this book because I thought it would have to be contrived to carry on the first story. But I was deeply wrong. This was incredible. Indescribably imaginative. The narration was perfect.

Yet Another Very Enjoyable Hystad Story

I love first person narration and the job done by this narrator was excellent.

The story was complex and great about the way things were revealed, both about the characters and the overall action.

It’s always good to see characters that are not two dimensional and that some who are seemingly bad may yet undergo redemption.

a great story told by a great narrator

it took an hour or so to get into this series lots of narrative had to be laid out before it could really start the end result is a fantastic tale of treachery love and aliens. for the plot like that you can't go wrong
Christopher Ryan Grant did a magnificent job with the narrations and the voices of the aliens.

You need to pay close attention

Interesting storyline but very complex to follow with all the constant deceit. The ultimate conclusion did wrap the story up but felt tenuous

Second Chance

Book two was even better than book one. The character development was excellent! The narration was outstanding! So many voices to remember! Amazing! Very much enjoyed!

Absolutely fantastic journey

The first book was good, the second was beyond fantastic. Many worlds, aliens, and surprises. On par with saga of seven suns. Never a dull moment, intelligent content throughout. Definitely worth the listen. Highly recommend.

A wonderful series

This series has more twists and turns than the Nurburgring race course. Fantastic story. Characters I love, characters I love to hate, great pacing, and a wonderful narration. This has quickly become one of my favorite series. The only problem is the depression of hearing 'Audible hopes you have enjoyed this program' and knowing I have to wait a month for the release of the next book on Audible.

Don't even think. Just buy the series.

Keep it coming

Great complexities in the storyline. There are some loose ends that have me anxious to hear more of this story.

Phenomenal Listen

Despite not really knowing why to expect, I found myself unable to put the first and second installments down. Everything g about the story, narrator, pacing, and character development exceded my expectations.

While not eclipsing my Gold Standard (Galaxy’s Edge,” it comes close. Can’t wait for the third installment.
