 I have enjoyed this whole series, and I waiting to hear scar story knowing his childhood was very traumatic. This is nowhere near the darkest story I’ve ever read, but it definitely did bring me to tears when it explained scar’s history, and what happened to Irina. I love the way that scar took care of her and helped her gain back confidence in herself. He showed her how to fight and protect herself so that she could never feel weak again. They both helped each other to overcome their past while having something to fight and live for .

What an intricate story line!!

Despite what I know will be terrible triggers due to the topics that are touched upon, the book was great. I would have listened straight through the entire thing if I could have tolerated the female vocals. They aren’t bad, just spoken like she was reading… The characters were well developed and the steamy scenes were intense and made you almost feel guilty for liking them. Over all, just get it if you can handle sexual triggers and trauma.

Love stories

I read five volumes of the story personally, I really enjoyed it. Yes, it has some triggers to me. I think it’s reality. You’re really going to Fantasy world in this these books? It was excellent in Audible

Plenty of Drama

Beware: So many triggers in this audiobook. This was all encompassing and I don’t think there was an emotion left out. Not a boring. I’m glad this was fantasy or I would’ve questioned many scenes. The FMC was strong and what she had endured only to have the MMC be an arrogant alpha/DOM who degraded the FMC - that’s when I saw her as weak. Narrators did a great job job.

Great book, terrible narration.

I love this series, and this book was amazing. But I found the narrations to be lacking. Nothing ruins the mood more when a male narrator moans in his best girl voice. Ugh. As far as the female voice goes, have you ever seen Schitt's Creek? This female narrator gives huge Moira vibes. Definitely not a fan. I probably would have skipped the Audible version had I listened to the sample.

SPECTACULAR!!!!

This series is so much more than a romance. The stories for all 5 books are filled with so much depth and action. The story really had me at the edge of my seat with nervous anticipation of what's to come. Book 5 was the hardest for me because of the extreme and graphic content, which just made the storyline all the better. I was waiting for Scar to finally find his love as you could clearly see that he was sad and tormented throughout the previous books. I love the strong family bonds and ties of all the characters as their relationships blossom and forge together. This series is yet another well written series by Adelaide Forrest who has fast become one of my favorite authors.

Wow

A devastatingly heartbreaking, emotionally intense and darkly raw roller coaster ride to go on. A definite page turner that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This story left me dizzy either from all the grittiness or from holding my breath. Phenomenal story!

Story line intense

Love can't wait till the final book. Standing by for the conclusion. I am so invested. Wish I could see the characters. Netflix is calling!

Dark

This book was unlike the others in the series. It was extremely dark and certainly had me on pins and needles throughout the entire thing.

Holy cr*p!!..

What an intense, very dark and traumatic read. This series does seem get more dark with each new book. Great world building. I wasn‘t expecting what happened. It was nail biting. Now to wait for the next release. I really need that book now.
