Such an amazing love story!!! I am in love with this book!! The connection between Georgia and Alex is simply beautiful!!

Shockingly Good

I know I am going to sound crazy but I think the story would have been even better with less spicy scenes. It was just a great story. I went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised.

Loved the relationship but the story line with the article and scandal wasn’t super exciting to me.

Cute

Really enjoyed this one. Super cute, entertaining, charming, and predictable at times but not in a bad way. The epilogue really helped land the finale, it gave me everything I was hoping for at end.

Best steamy romance of all time!

This is the first romance I’ve EVER read that is funny, heartfelt, perfectly paced, has an actual plot, has fully developed characters who use MATURE communication skills, and is steamy AF! Of course a celebrity hookup is far feched, but the author makes this feel believable and relatable (even if in more real-life scenarios). And thank the romance Goddess there is REAL passionate and honest sex with realistic sexual vocabulary and no “heated cores” or “velvet wrapped steel”. Not a cringe in sight! I could easily see myself in this story and loved every single well-written page.

I hadn’t felt this giddy with a romance book since Sweet Filthy Boy.
Ivy Owens’ story is captivating, sweet, passionate, intriguing. The main characters have loads and loads of chemistry from the very beginning. I won’t give much spoilers just read it or listen to the audiobook.

The narrator did fantastic job, at times she did miss the accent that Alec was supposed to have. It didn’t take away from the story.

I can’t wait to see what Ivy writes next!

4.5 Stars !!!

I struggled with the first quarter or so of the story. It felt a little slow and I wasn't grabbed by the characters or the plot or environment. The narration also dragged my experience down a bit as well. Charlotte Penfield did do a great job as GiGi but her voice for Alec wasn't distinct enough sounded too much like her regular voice and wasn't consistent. Nor did it depict the accents of the places he'd lived that were said to beautifully color his voice. So that is what kept me from giving this a 5 Star rating. I did stick with the story wanting to know why the reviews I read raved so about this book, this love. By the HEA I was happy I'd stuck with the story. Alec is not a superstar with a super ego he is just a man a good one a humble one with a flashy job. He is devoted to his family loyal and earnest and the chemistry that builds between him and Gigi is simply beautiful and something every woman yearns for or at least this one does. The honest joy and depth of emotion between Alec and Gigi kept the sexy times from being overly explicit or trashy they were just sweetly beautifully sensual and steamy. I also greatly appreciate being able to view a reporter in a good light. Gigi had principles and morals. Respect for others and for herself. This was my first book by Ownes, and I will be looking into her other works.

One of the BEST Romance Books I’ve Ever Read!!!!

I absolutely loved this book!! It hit the spot for me with the sweetest love story!! I don’t care if anyone says this book is predictable or too good to be true. I loved getting lost in this story and didn’t want it to end!! The spice is some of the best I have read in a book. You could truly feel the attraction between them and it always felt like their intimate moments were so special and them always making love. I wish there was more books in this series that follows their life together. I promise this book is worth the credit or purchase.
