Twisted Epic!

I wish I could give this story a 10 stars. Two mob families were at war with each other. Roque was an Italian mob king with a dark side. He was to kill Romina, while his mob killed off the rest of her family. Although they were enemies, together they were one big ball of fire. The thing between them would not go away! It was about a hot love/hate situation.
Rodney Falcon was the smooth voice in the narration of it! He just keeps getting better and better! I was sure I was watching it live. This story is so powerful it should be made into a movie with Rodney being the star!

mob romance

A true mob romance story. The main characters live and play hard and love even harder. It seemed like fate that these two with their rough edges should be drawn together time after time regardless of what life and others had planned for them. Chloe was an unexpected bonus to the story. She helped humanize the characters and added perspective. I was quickly drawn in and couldn't get enough. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did an excellent job bringing the characters and story to life. His voice was magic.

This book was absolutely amazing. Roque and Chloe were enemies but the fates had other plans for these two. No matter what life threw at them nothing could come between them. Not even the mob…

Fantastic, Fabulous, Dark Romance with Heat!

From the moment they met, Roque and Romina were fated, destined to be each other’s completion. The fact that their families made it their mission to eliminate each other? Well, that was a bit of a problem. The fact that that organized crime was involved? Okay, that made it really dicey. And the FBI? Don’t get me started! But all of it combined also made for a very engrossing, very compelling, very hot listen, and worth every second of ten hours and fifty four minutes! This well written, fabulously narrated story is everything I could have asked for in a dark romance. This is the complete Salvatore Syndicate Trilogy. The story begins when Roque and Romina are very young and spans years. The sub plot involving Roque’s adopted daughter was outstanding, and really added to the story. The HEA ending made me positively swoon! I totally loved this one! Just grab it, grab your headphones and enjoy! You won’t regret it!

I left a very vague description above because this book plays out so beautifully when read and I didn't want to give anything else away. The way the story is told is brilliant !
In previous books we've learned bits and pieces about Roque, but in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine this to be his story. I LOVED IT AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE ! ! !


REQUIEM

After losing Romina, Roque decides to do right by the only girl who has stood by his side, Chloe. The one he rescued from an horrific future is all he needs. He decides that if happiness isn't in his future, it damn well will be in hers. In such a short time he has become quite protective of Chloe, but now that she's going away for school, Roque is out of control with worry. Chloe is leaving, but his heart was gone long before her. Romina left with that. Unbeknownst to Roque, Romina is out for revenge. She may still love him but she doesn't like him very much. (understatement of the year) Roque finds himself racing the clock to find Romina and salvage what is left of his heart.
They are playing dangerous games, cat & mouse as well as hide & seek. As long as Chloe is safe from the danger they're caught up in, Roque sleeps well. Chloe being close to Roque is danger enough without the added worry of college life, boys and rival mobsters.
Between worrying about Chloe and finding Romina, Roque is at his wits' end. Roque is powerful, untouchable, but trying to keep them safe is something he never anticipated and if he fails, his thirst for revenge would rain down across oceans.
