Another solid entry in the series.

Having read and listened to the book, definitely worth the audible credit. Good arc progression and character development. Christian and Hazel do a great job as always!

Great second book

This a great sequel to the series I can’t wait to see where the author will take the story

Great Story and Great Progression!

A truly enjoyable addition to the first book with great character development and wonderful story progression. The characters are interesting and additional characters are very good also. The narration is spot on and certainly adds to the enjoyment! I like that there is a solidity to this story it keeps me invested, I can’t wait for the next book!

The story was damn good the first and second one and I like the Viking feel to it too and then he’s getting all those women and killing a lot of assholes

More savagery

Definitely getting better and better. Certainly looking forward to seeing what Crow has planned for the MC and his wives. Also, I'm finding the cultivation methods quite unique. I cannot place another that I've read that has the same methods. Certainly a great series to pick up even with the sexy parts.

great part 2 story makes sense and is told with wit and continued from first without problems. narration same as first book with voices matching characters new and from first.

You won’t regret giving this book a chance

This story transcends any one genre. There is plenty of comedic banter, action, intrigue, and romance to satisfy anyone. Give this book a read/listen to and you won’t regret it. Kane did well by his readership with this title.

It kept it going

Technical delivery I had no complaints at all. At this phase the story did have a few hits that leave an impression of a limited future for at least a few elements, though not in a close out for the overall storyline. I am impressed so much more the great show of our narrators diversity among the members of the cast grew a bit on me.

As for the story the relative relationships seem to maintain all while surprising you. Our heroes remain ever mortal and we do lose here. not going deep into what but when you get there it makes sense, no one should be alarmed because it doesn't mean a whole lot among the cast after. That is as much as I can give without spoiling much. The play of the story refines well here, the use of expectations seems to point to a goal now outside of what we have had, which is great for the story.

This was a shorter length but had a greater bang for the buck feel, and not all action, or passion either! And I admit the writer got me thinking the plot in the passion was going to be predictable and threw in a few tricks.

The new cast additions quickly shade a whole new spectrum that was not used much if at all before, not particularly unique but well done and worth a read if you liked the flow of the previous book, and most will be even more enthused with this sincerely refined sequel. I expect to be after the next promptly, cliffhangers aside there are still plots to explore. I admit fully I finished and was convinced I had missed something, the cliffhangers were devious as a sudden cliff!

Great story and narration!

The crew is back and preparing for the third trial! An unscrupulous Lord wishes to dash all their plans, but the MC and his wives are not without tricks that might save them and help them to reach their goals...

Christian and Hazel do a great job with the narration!

I really enjoyed this second book in the series!

I can't wait to find out what happens next!
