Safe House

Great ideas, not so good narrator
The book has great ideas. Takes off in ch. 3. Don't give up on it too early. It's definitely inspiring for parents who want to be intentional about parenting.

Amazing parenting book
This is an amazing parenting book. I appreciated Straub's combination of psychological as well as scriptural references to understand our children from a mental and spiritual 'holistic' perspective. A must read by every parent with children at any age!

What a blessing for me as a father!
I would recommend this book to any father...Christian or not. The path for legacy and an enriched Christian heritage for your children, through Christ in us as parents, has been found in this book.

Phenomenal!!!
This book has helped us not only in raising our children but in our marriage as well. There is so much priceless knowledge to soak up. We would recommend this book to all families or people wanting to eventually have a family. I wish we could have found this earlier, but am so grateful that we have it now.
The only recommendation I have is for there to be a pdf of questions after each chapter or one with all the questions presented in the audible. Most of the time I was listening while driving so I could write down the questions or big points within the chapters.
