The book has great ideas. Takes off in ch. 3. Don't give up on it too early. It's definitely inspiring for parents who want to be intentional about parenting.

Some of this was information I had already heard but told in a new way. Mostly it was a great reminder of what I should be doing and how I should be doing it to raise confident, healthy, safe children!

Practical examples to use everyday

Strongly recommend, started to use a few practical skills with my children and their speaking with me increased over their concerns with friends and school. I truly feel more connected and my children as they continue to approach me more and more. This is a must-read to connect with your children at any age.
