Short and unusual.

Personally I am unused to reading about horse shifters which made this book interesting. Especially because it was set in a historical context. There is a lot to take in, though the story itself is very short. As it comes to a conclusion there is a sense of the unrealistic, though that is explained satisfactorily. Overall it is ok, especially If you are looking for something short and unusual.

Absolutely loved it! The author has created a wonderful story with strong characters, each complimenting the other perfectly.

Olivia Lush has done an excellent job narrating. The voices used are consistent with the characters, her emotions made for an excellent listen

Funny Short Story

I was given this book in exchange for an unbiased review. The narrator kept me laughing because the way she did the voices you could tell she was straining to make the accent and depth. The story overall was good. The way it started was cheesy but you know when men get caught looking at a woman's breast they always try to make it the woman's fault that they were doing that. I liked how Rebecca stood up for herself even when she knew that it could mean she would be sent back home.

Good Writing Great Performance -Twist Ruined

This is set in a historical setting. The typical historical romance; the only avenue to keep her families from ruin was to become a mail order bride. Rebecca meets Christian at his huge estate with plenty of servants. She wonders how or if she will be able to do all she's expected, (or if even if she wants to after one conversation) or to fulfill her wifely duty.

An unexpected twist into fantasy had me lose interest. It IS properly categorized. However, the short summary I read wasn't long enough to include it.
