Amazing book!!

My son's grandmother got it for me when I became a new mum, I didn't get time to read obviously, so I got the audio book. I'm glad it was the first parenting book I read (listened to) Gary Thomas has provided some insights I would have never thought of. This book has framed my way of entering into the world of parenting with realistic expectations, confidence in God's providence for myself and my family, spitually and otherwise.

I've read Sacred Search and Sacred Marriage by the same author and I appreciate his perspective on parenting as well. I think he lays out a very biblical and helpful perspective on parenting that is realistic and wise.

Has good values and principles. I recommend it to all parents, who just began this journey or going for quite a bit )))) This book makes us think about some good points. And challenges to be a better, God - centered parent.

I've never seen parenting like this before, I struggled with how to raise my kids and there are so many different ways to do it. with this book I learned that is not the how but the why what matters! and that made a whole world difference
