I spent my business career working in SQL

I spent my business career working in SQL environment and relational data base software. I have been trying to entice one of my sons to pursue a computer career beyond video games. This is the best book I have found for anyone who thinks they might be interested in computers as a career option. Despite being an MIT grad, the author is able to break down SQL into an understandable and approachable subject. Hope it tempts my sons to learn more.

A someone who works in the tech startup world, I always like to have a working knowledge of the programming languages used by colleagues and friends. "SQL: Ultimate Beginner's Guide" is a fantastic resource and guide to SQL for beginners! There is a clear explanation of terminology, examples of how to use it, and a very methodical guide to help you know what to expect when you use certain queries. This is a fantastic guide!

Amazing book. I am curious about SQL at any level. I do originate from an IT foundation so I was eager to perceive what this book brought to the table. Beginning he enables the peruser to comprehend SQL on the most essential level. At that point we are slipped into the various sorts of SQL. At that point we move into databases and the four fundamentals of SQL Operations. I can say this is an incredible introduction book for people who think nothing about SQL. Get it, it's an intriguing read.

I have long been looking for a book for beginners

I have long been looking for a book for beginners on programming. And here I found it - it's written, nothing superfluous - just what it takes to get started. It's a little difficult for me, but this book will help me to gradually learn everything so that I can apply this knowledge in practice. Thanks to the author for the understandable and accessible material.

This is a great book

This is a great book if you are just getting starting or are new to SQL. Having the examples to walk through is a huge help in getting the concepts to stick. If you have some experience in SQL already, this book may be too foundational. Overall, a great refresh if you haven't used SQL in awhile, or a great getting started guide if you are brand new!

Informative guide....

As a beginner to SQL, this book was surprisingly easy to comprehend. The author’s tone was almost jovial, which you don’t find very often from data nerds. Can’t wait for the SeQueL!

Then we are eased into the different types of SQL. Then we move into databases and the four basics of SQL Operations. I can say that this is a great intro book for individuals who know nothing about SQL. Pick it up, it's an interesting read.
