They tried to break us.
They almost did.
But we're not going anywhere.

The Celestial Heirs think the stars are on their side. But they don't know what's coming. We have to be smart. Fighting them one on one isn't an option so we have to be stealthy. Remaining under the radar won't be easy, but if we pull it off, they'll never suspect our involvement when their lives start falling apart.

Besides, they've already taken us to the brink of hell, what more can they really do?

My Gosh! This series is truly like getting a season after season of the best reality TV ever. While I could rush through the series with the original two narrators, I will be patient and wait for the full cast narrations because I'm addicted to them.

It's Like Reality TV In Your Ears

The book was amazing !! The voices especially darius was a great fix only thing now is Geraldine’s she is goofy and beautiful yes she is muscular and tall but still
I think they should switch Geraldine’s voice with Mildred’s I think it’s better suited
But other than that it was so good especially the ending the pitball match and the action had me at the edge of my seat !!

Amazing !!! But voices

There are a few characters that needs to be addressed, but the one in this book, aside from Geraldine, is Catalina. She is portrayed as entirely too self-assured and assertive for the way her character is supposed to be (kinda vacant and wistful). This is going to become increasingly important as the books progress (book 4 and beyond).

Narrators have improved, but still needs work

I’m getting used to the dramatized version. Some of the background noise still throws me off though. And I think Mildred and Geraldine’s voices should’ve been switched. For Mildred being on faeroids, her voice is really high and peppy where Geraldine’s is low and dopey sounding.

Better

Enjoyed book 2 a lot and cannot wait to continue on to the next book.

On to book 3

I’m obsessed with ZA and it was awesome getting to hear it as a “movie.” Everything was done super well, EXCEPT for Orion’s and Geraldine’s voices. Orion sounds like Shawn from the good place, middle aged instead of mid-twenties. I’m almost scared to hear the spicy scenes with his voice. Geraldine and Mildred’s voices should be swapped 100%. Mildred is supposed to sound masculine and roided out, not Geraldine!! Please please change them, there’s still time! You did it for Darius, please do it for Geraldine and Orion before the rest come out!!

Amazing but some voices wrong

I much prefer the voice of Darius now. Also, I feel like they made better music choices in the second book making it less distracting while you’re reading it. Absolutely had such a fun time on this one. I wish all of the dramatize versions out so I could binge them.

New voice

Okay, the graphic audio absolutely delivers. The story is fire, there’s drama, slow-burn romance with just the right amount of spice, and enough mystery to keep you guessing. It’s the kind of audiobook that sucks you in and doesn’t let go.

The voice acting? A mixed bag, but not bad overall. Tory’s narrator killed it, her pacing and vibe felt so natural, like you’re listening to your bestie spill tea. Darcy’s, on the other hand, felt a little off. Her voice sounded way too old and kind of dramatic for a 18-year-old. It wasn’t terrible, but it took me out of the moment a few times.

So for the guys, Orion’s voice? Spot on. He nailed that proper, smart, and perpetually annoyed energy. Max was easily my favorite of the heirs, voice-wise, he just fit. Darius was really good too, though the gravelly thing felt a bit overdone in some parts. Seth and Caleb? Not what I pictured. I thought they’d have more frat bro energy, Seth especially, but they didn’t sound terrible, just different from what I imagined. As for Geraldine and her dad… yeah, they really need a Southern Belle/Southern Gentleman vibe to match their over-the-top personalities.

All in all, it’s a great listen, even if the narration isn’t 100% cohesive. The story is chef’s kiss, and I’m excited for the rest of the series to come out in this format.

Can’t wait for the next one!

I LOVE these books. Only 4 stars because I can’t get past Geraldine’s voice! It does not match the character in the books at all! It’s too deep and manly. she is goofy but very girly in the books! I can’t picture that voice matching with Maxy boy! Please change it.

Geraldine’s voice is all wrong!

I love this story! I’ve already read all of them on physical books, so I was excited when I seen it came out with graphic audio. However- some of the voices are so WRONG! I love Darius’s voice now that they changed it- so i’m praying that they fix Orion’s voice next. He’s supposed to be a young hot broody professor, not this 60yr old man. He’s also very sarcastic, but the current narrator does not portray that. I’m not liking his character at all, because of the voice & how it’s being read. Overall I am still enjoying it- just hope they change Orion!

Why does Orion sound 60???
